I went back to our table with a frowned face.

"Oh my god! I am sooo happy for you! Finally, you're not an old maid anymore." Cassie chuckled.

"Stop it Cass, nothing is funny. You betrayed me!" I tried to act a bit hurt.

"Chill. First of all, I will never, ever betray you. Second, both Tita Esther and Tito Leo asked me if you can be a part of the event's auction. You know that I cannot say "No" to them right? Or else my Mom and Dad will surely ground me for good. And last but not the least, I already have Robi, so basically I am not allowed to date anyone aside from him. I hope you understand cous. On the bright side, I heard that the 'Chavez guy' is a total hotty. Your one lucky bitch."

"More like bad luck for me." I took a glass of champagne and gulped it. I wanna go home and sleep.

"May I have this dance?"

A man with those piercing gray eyes handed me his palm.

"Uhm." There's a complete hesitation in my voice.

"I paid for a date. Please don't let me down." He said still reaching for my hand.

"I am sorry.Okay." Geez, his hand is so soft.

We are in the center of the ballroom. Well, not just us, there are also some partners who are dancing with the soothing jazz music. His mask is black which gives more emphasis on his gorgeous gray eyes. He held both of my hands and place them on top of his broad shoulders, then he put his hands on my waist. Spell awkward.

"Tell me about yourself Cinderella." He asked.

"Cinderella?"

"Yeah, 'cause you are also wearing a blue gown just like hers. And both of you are lovely."

I smirked. Lovely eh? Nahh, so cliché.

"Oh, that is interesting, I never thought that a guy like you is fond of watching fairy tales."

I chuckled a bit.

"Well, I am just a big brother to my little sister and I don't want to be a total killjoy if I will tell her to watch Transformers or Batman right?"

Wow, that is new. I never thought that talking to a stranger will be this errr... I don't have the right adjective to describe our current situation.

"Really? So you also played with the gowns and unicorns of your little sister then?"

"Brfff---hahahaha"

Then he let out a loud laugh that caused the other people to stop dancing and looked at us.

"What the heck is your problem?"

I whispered to him while we are just standing like a complete idiots in there.

"Nothing, I just found you so damn adorable. May I know your name Miss?"

My oh my, he doesn't even know my name.

"I'm El--"

"Gian dear, look at you now? You've grown up into a such fine man."

A woman, the same as ours, I guessed. She is gorgeous in that fitted black gown that has slit, revealing her white and slim right leg. She walked by and gave Gian a hug.

"Thanks, Sarah. Even you, yourself is beautiful as always."Said, Gian.

Okay, I felt small. I don't belong in here anymore. I let them enjoy their conversation and I walked out. Fudge.

Perhaps, this is the right time to go home. I went to the balcony to relax, to have a fresh air from all of those people inside. Sometimes I just wish to be normal, stuffs like that. I looked down and remove my shoes. My feet are already sore because of these silver high heels of mine. I think it's already 12 midnight . Geez, I want to sneak out but I know that the guards will not let me go out this castle. Shesssh, suddenly an idea popped up in my mind.
