Chapter 5-Far from home

Just to mention before this, i dont have any problem with Eret, they're an amazing person nd i respect them, but for the sakes of the holy plot i gotta make him a bit cruel. I am sorry to all Eret's fans. Again i 100% respect and love Eret. Also i will be using both he/him and they/them for Eret. Now on to the story

It's been about a few weeks since I've been here, with dream. Classes weren't that hard but the teachers were mostly rude. But the guard, George, he's actually a nice guard and sometimes he comes in and plays with us different games, or he just checks up on us. But the man who was keeping us here was mean and if we got something else than A+ he wouldn't give us food for the day and beat us. Overall it was okay in here. But i do miss my family.

Its true, i tried to escape this place a couple times, but i always got caught. Each time Eret cut a horizontal line across my arm. After a few tries of escaping they also put a red ribbon around my neck, to signalize that i am their propriety in case i ever manage to escape. And of course, dream always laughed at me when after i fail my plan of escaping. He truly believed we cant get out of here. He did take care of me and (tried to) bandage the cuts or call George to help him.

It sucked, but i got to get used to it.

All this time i got closer and closer to Dream. He was really nice and caring, but this place was slowly driving him insane.

- 5 Days later

Dream shock me awake. Not knowing what was happening i got scared. "Hey wake up Eret's going to be here soon" He said before i could actually realize i was alive. Hearing his name got me sitting up, hoping we didnt got a bad grade again. I slowly climbed down the ladder and got some clothes to dress in something nice. Dream just followed me down, grabbed a book and went to sit on his bed.

I come back wearing (-Insert the outfit you want-) (if you have no outfit in mind  you can use this one: black long socks , black shorts and a long and large red hoodie)

Me and Dream just talked until the large door opened to reveal  Eret and a guard behind him.

"hello children" Eret said loudly. "Hello king Eret" Me and dream said at the same time. "In case you didn't know i am here to give you.. masks" He said as he pulled out of nowhere two plain white masks and a few markers with each. "But i want you to customize your masks" He added. I looked at dream, to Eret, back at dream and back at Eret. Dream got happy and walked to Eret. They kindly gave Dream a mask and black marker. I went and did the same. Now with the marker and the mask in hand i started thinking what to draw on it. The mask was a full covering mask and was white and plain. 

The first thing that came to my mind was a smile, but I'd look pretty dumb. But what about.. I looked around. Nothing too inspirational. I looked at the few drawings Dream or me Drew. One of them caught my attention. It had a dead person, but not that was what caught my attention, but the face. A simple X)... I quickly thought about it for a second. "Yes, Y/n?" Eret asked which shocked me off my thoughts. "Oh i was just looking for inspiration" I said looking back at the mask.

It's worth a shot.

I drew a X) face on it but under the X i drew a upside down cross. I Dont remember drawing a cross, especially an upside down one, it just appeared out of thin air. But i didnt mind it there. As soon as it was done i looked over to Dream, his mask was actually similar but it was a simple smiling face.. simple yet creepy. The :) looked as it it was staring deep in my soul. It was great.

I looked back at my mask. "but for what will we need these masks?" I asked confused. It was a fun activity i guess but Eret wouldn't just give us a fun activity for nothing. "Thank you for asking, y/n, i gave you these masks so you can go out from now on, almost whenever you want but under a guard's watch only, and when you go out you have to put your masks on, if you wont put them on.. lets just say you wont like what will happen" They said.

I was truly happy that now we will be allowed to go outside and see the village. Can't wait to go out but... i wonder what happens if you dont wear masks.. or why are we forced to weak masks? it doesn't make any sense.

Agian, a bit late but hey, not 2 months late.

Well as you can or can't notice (Depends on your time zones) I am writing these at 2/3 Am so uh.. i am so sleep deprived at this point i may have made lots of mistakes, please point them out if you see any.

Am i supposed to be seeing blurry? idk. Do i see everything blurry? i surely do.

I am so proud of you, please get some sleep, eat food, and drink actual water, no, no monster no energy drinks, actual WATER. Love you <3
