Jungkook was humming a tune, on the table near the sink, while dangling his legs.
He observed his mate's quivering hand, carefully. "Taehyungie", he finally called out, "Are you alright ? You've been shaking since the past five minutes"

The addressed wolf shook his head, putting down his razor. Taehyung blinked twice, before handing the sharp tool to his mate. Jungkook, confused, looked at him, with the razor in his hand. Taehyung was trying to shave his not-shaved-for-two-weeks cheeks, but failed miserably.

The alpha didn't say anything, and just stared at Jungkook, his eyes shimmering in hope.
"You want me to help with your shaving ?", Jungkook questioned hesitantly. Taehyung nodded quickly, an embarrassed yet proud smile playing on his lips.

Koo giggled out loud, throwing his head back. He held Taehyung's chin, dipping the razor in the sink.

"If you wanted help, you could've said that earlier, dummy", Jungkook smiled ear-to-ear, before yelping out softly, when Taehyung suddenly pulled him closer.

His hands trembled against Jungkook's waist, out of nervousness. He dared not utter a single word, and neither could he meet his mate's eyes.

A few seconds passed, in complete silence, before Jungkook mumbled, "If you pull these stunts, at least don't freeze the next moment".
"N-no!", Taehyung said immediately, his voice shaken up badly, due to the tiny pout, playing on Jungkook's cherry lips.

The younger dragged the razor against Taehyung's rough skin, carefully, while Taehyung wondered, Was morning shave always this refreshing or is it just the presence of Jungkook ?

"Jungkook"
Hearing mrs. Kim's voice, all the heads present in the breakfast table, including the addressed omega, turned towards the old woman.
"Today is the day where the prime alpha goes for pack examination. So, why don't you accompany him ?", she smiled gently, holding the spoonful of soufflé near her mouth.

Jungkook's doe eyes sparkled in excitement, as he nodded his head eagerly, "Of course! I'm ready to go"
Taehyung could feel his wolf perk up and howl loudly.
He grinned internally, shoving down the whole dish down his throat.

"I'll be right back", saying so, the alpha sprinted away, leaving everyone in the breakfast table astonished.

Mrs. Kim shook her head, mumbling to her husband, "I gave birth to a oompa-loompa".

Within a few seconds, Taehyung dashed down, making Jungkook sneeze out loudly due to the strong smell of scent emitting from the alpha's body.

"You smell like a cologne factory", mr. Kim sneered, twisting his lips in a mocking manner.
Taehyung, in reply, just rolled his eyes, before landing his eyes on his mate, who was already looking at him with hopeless eyes.

"Tae, you're not going to a wedding ceremony. Why are you clad in such a fancy suit ?", confusion and astonishment dripped down the omega's voice, as he eyed Taehyung.
"I just wanted to dress formally", the latter pouted vigorously, looking down upon his clothes.

Black coloured suit embroidered with fine black silk in a detailed manner ; black, ironed trouser, made out of expensive fabric ; a crease-less white cotton shirt, buttoned upto the second last button, with a little bow around Taehyung's neck.

Jungkook was right. It was a bit too. Just a bit. Nothing more.

"I can put away the bow if you want to", Taehyung's deep voice contradicted his pouty lips, giving a weirdly cute contrast to his face, "But nothing more than that"

Namjoon, who was watching the scenario from a bit afar, coughed out loudly, as he choked on dry air.
He signalled Jungkook to hand him the glass of water, still hitting his chest, hoping for the coughs to stop.

Mr. Kim wheezed out loudly at his son's actions, making Namjoon's coughs more complicated.
The youngest of the two brothers, looked at his father and brother, as if, he had just faced the biggest betrayal of the century.

Jungkook giggled at Taehyung's helpless face, who was looking back and forth, towards Mr. Kim and Namjoon.

"Taehyung, I think you and Jungkook should start now", mrs. Kim butted in, glaring at her husband, who was still wheezing silently, making noises similar to a steam engine.

"Taetae! Wait", Jungkook called out to Taehyung. The elder halted on his way and looked back.
Their horse carriage dropped them right before the town market, making way through which, they will be able to reach the town hall.

Jungkook stopped in his way, as the shutter of his huge kodak camera flickered a few times.
Taehyung smiled, seeing Jungkook carefully change the roll of his camera.

"Why're you in such a hurry ?", puffing out his cheeks, the omega busily fixed the cube-flash over the camera.
Taehyung just hummed in reply. He held Jungkook's palm, intertwining it with his own.

"Do you want to visit the town market first ?", the elder questioned, his eyes lingering around the light hue of red, which dusted Jungkook's cheeks.
"But, shouldn't we complete the official works first ?", Jungkook questioned, getting a quick "It's alright. We still have time", in reply.

Koo nodded his head in tiny, holding onto his alpha's arm, snapping his camera frequently.

They were walking down the streets, when Jungkook called, "Taehyungie", he tapped Taehyung's shoulder, "Can you stand there ?", he pointed towards a particular place, keeping his eyes on the lense of his camera.

Taehyung chuckled and took a few steps backward, standing where Jungkook pointed him to.
After a few eye-blinding flashes, he was called off from his duty, finally being given the permission to check the negatives.

"I'm gonna take out the pictures, once we reach the town hall", Jungkook mumbled, a shy smile playing on his lips.
"W-will you keep m-my pictures ?", Taehyung questioned, baffled by his own words. The younger stared at him, equally flustered.

Awkward silence fell upon them like the wings of a tired morning bird, only to be suddenly pierced by the omega's sudden excitement.

"Excuse me sir", he called out sweetly towards a passer-by.
He whispered something to the person and handed him his camera, extremely carefully.
But to the alpha's surprise, his mate came running towards him and held his arm with his tiny palms.

Taehyung looked at him, confused and shy, due to the sudden shower of affection over him.
The man's finger rested his finger on the shutter, signalling them to come closer to each other.

"C'mon! You can keep our pictures, and I'll be keeping yours", Jungkook frowned at his alpha, trying to fix his posture.

Taehyung let out a small noise of realisation, which fell unheard to his mate's eyes, due to his loud heart-beats. The alpha was completely red.

Taehyung hugged Jungkook, resting his hand on the younger's shoulder. He smiled widely, upon feeling Koo's tiny head tilt towards himself. Following Jungkook's action, Taehyung tilted his head too, leading them to ultimately bump each other. The shutter's sound overlapped with the sound of their giggles, their awkwardness long forgotten.
