Rebuilt hearts

Six

Menma was the first to wake up, this time he would be making breakfast as it was decided the moment they moved in together that whoever woke up would make breakfast. the only issue was that he couldn't cook to save his life. usually he would wake Naruto up to help him a bit, but today he would do this alone, Naruto was up all night trying to figure out some seal's he was creating and Menma didn't bother him as he knew his beloved boyfriend was for too focused on trying to figure it out. the seal was a chakra seal that transferred chakra from one teammate to another. 

Menma walked onto the kitchen after taking a nice hot shower and saw the Bain of his existence the stove... he slowly approached it till he was standing in front of it. "I know we don't get along but for Naruto's sake... don't sabotage me!" he said slamming a pan onto the stove top. turning on the stove he yelped when he turned the diel all the way up and the flames just barely missed his hand. he turned it low and thus began the battle of fire. by the end half the kitchen was charred in black, when Naruto got up at 4:00 and when he walked into the kitchen he was shocked to say the least. the whole kitchen was either burned in some way or covered in food, but on the diving table were two plates of food which looked neat and clean and the food looked well cooked, Menma who was standing beside the table was looking neat and tidy with a white apron on.

Naruto bent over with laughter, "y-you ahahahaha! you're so cute" Naruto got up still giggled and walked up to Menma, he placed both hands on his face pecking his lips, Menma wrapped his arms around Naruto's small waist and deepened the kiss. Naruto smiled wrapping his arms around his neck, "thank you for breakfast... but you do know you're gonna be cleaning this mess right?" Menma nodded with a chuckle, "I know love... well are you gonna try it or what?" Naruto nodded and sat down to eat, as he ate he was surprised at how good it tasted. "Mmm~ you've really improved since you last cooked" Naruto said grinning, Menma smiled sitting down to eat as well.

walking to training ground 7, Menma had just barely finished cleaning the kitchen though Naruto did help. by the time it was 5 they where at the training ground, there in the clearing that was training ground 7 stood Sakura,  Sasuke, Mito and Ninato. each of them yawning, Naruto and Menma weren't tired as they where used to waking up at the crack of dawn when they where training with their summons. They took a seat by three posts that sat close to the center of the area, Naruto was brushing his hair with a brush that was in a seal on his upper arm, he didn't have the vermillion red jacket on, said jacket was sitting on the ground around his body. 

Menma was resting beside Naruto, he was playing with a Kunai again, he found it entertaining, Naruto put the brush back and everyone else watched as he did, "it just disappeared!" Mito said with wide eyes, Ninato knew basic fūinjutsu, he knew how to put things away and take them out but he didn't know how to use seals as weapons, not yet at least. 

as time passed Sakura found herself falling asleep as well as Sasuke, Mito was trying and failing at talking at Menma, Naruto was dangling from a tree upside down with his legs hooked over a sturdy branch, his hair was barely touching the ground. Menma was trying hard to ignore the girl who kept talking to him, "hay Menma... is that Kakashi being dragged by the ear?" Naruto asked pointing at the area he was staring at. Menma looked over as did Mito and Ninato, there in the distance was a grown man being dragged from the ear by Kushina. "finally!" Ninato said throwing his hands into the air, Naruto grabbed the branch and flipped his body down to the ground, "hello guy's! Sorry we're late I was just pulling this boy out of his house" Naruto rolled his eyes and putting on his jacket.

they all gathered in front of the posts of course Mito had woken up Sakura and Sasuke. Naruto and Menma stood close to each other like usual, Kakashi placed a clock on a small stump "okay, it's set for 12:00!" he pushed the top of the clock to start it. Kushina and Kakashi held up two bells each, "you guys will be doing this exercise as separate teams, my team will be going after my bell" Kushina said shaking the bells. "and my team" kakashi started, "will be going after my bells" he tied the bells to his hip, Kushina doing the same.
