Chapter Two - "Oh, uh, dare?"

 Bakugou nervously arrived at Denki's dorm at 7:00 sharp. He wiped his slightly sweaty palms on his jeans and knocked. He never got invited to things. Why was he invited to this?

Denki stood up and opened the door, laughing still at something Mina had said. "You made it!" He smiled brightly and stepped to the side, opening the door wider. Bakugou stood there awkwardly, nodding slightly at Denki's statement. 

"Come on in! We were just painting nails and waiting for the others to show up," Bakugou walked in and closed the door behind him. He noticed Mina and Jirou giggling and painting each other's fingernails. 

Denki sat down with his back against his bed and picked up the little bottle he'd been using. 

"You can sit anywhere you'd like," He smiled warmly at Bakugou who replied with a brief eye roll. Katsuki ended up sitting directly next to Denki. 

"So apparently she ended up asking him out because he was too chicken," Jirou laughed. 

"Oh my god, poor Ojiro. But they're cute together," Denki responded. 

"Who..?" Bakugou said hoarsely. He cleared his voice and tried speaking again. "Who?"

"Hagakure, she finally listened to us," At Bakugou's confused expression, Mina clarified, "We've been telling her to ask him out for like, two months," Bakugou nodded. 

"So, babes. I was thinking once the guys get here we could play truth or dare!" 

Jirou lit up excitedly, messing up her nail. "Oh damnit! But that sounds fun! We haven't played since Todoroki's birthday party," 

Denki nodded. "I'm down. Are you playing, Kaccha- err, Bakubro?" 

Bakugou shook his head. "I don't play truth or dare. And come up with an original nickname, dumbass!" 

Denki just laughed. "Kat..soupy. No, KitKat. Nope. Erm, K," The two girls were tuning Denki's random mumbling out but Bakugou wasn't. 

"Those are all shitty. Make up something smart," He shook his head.  

Denki thought quietly for a long moment. "B!" Denki shouted. 

"That's so basic, did you not hear a damn word I just said?" 

Denki was smiling. "Best an idiot like me can do, I guess." Bakugou rolled his eyes but didn't say anything else. 

"Where the hell are the boys?" Jirou voiced her question right as a knock was heard at the door. 

"Ooh! I'll get it," Denki hopped up and let them in. 

Kirishima apologized for being late while Sero explained they'd been getting in some extra training. 

"Oh, that's totally cool, man," Denki forgave, smiling. He closed the door and sat next to Bakugou again. 

Kirishima and Sero sat next to Denki and Mina respectively. 

"All right, I'll go first. Kami, truth or dare?" Jirou asked, blowing on her nails.

"Erm, truth?" Denki smiled sheepishly. He knew of the girls' intense lust for drama and knew it would be safer to go for truth. 

Jirou mumbled 'lame' before standing up and putting her nail polishes on Kaminari's desk. 

"Are you a virgin?" 

"Jirou-!" Mina was laughing but also trying to prevent Denki's embarrassment. 

"No, I'm not," Denki was flushed red, and he kept looking down to avoid eye contact, "Didn't know we were diving right in," 

Bakugou kept a stony face throughout the whole experience, even though he should've been laughing with the rest of the group. Didn't matter. He wasn't here to laugh or have fun or play childish games. Right?

"Kirishima, your turn! Truth or dare?" Denki was desperately trying to embarrass someone else. 

"Oh, uh, dare?" Kirishima hadn't been paying attention. Perfect. 

"I dare you to ask out your crush the next time you see them," Denki grinned deviously, "And read them a poem," 

"Wha- Denki, man!" Kirishima put his hands over his eyes. That wasn't fair, he was in the room! 

"A dare's a dare, man. You have to do it!" Sero was laughing his ass off. Not helping, man. 

"Fine," he took a deep breath, "Bakubro, will you go out with me sometime?"
