Chapter 11

Episode 11 - My Cold Fiancé Puzzles the Heroine

Although it was missing from Lisa's memory, the heroine's name was Suzy Bae. She was originally raised as a commoner, but was discovered to have the bloodline of Earl Bae, and rose to the ranks of an aristocrat. According to the original, she was supposed to have transferred to the school at the end of this November... but it was currently the beginning of October. It was two months earlier than in the game, Lisa felt uneasy.

Fate should have already been decided. The world shouldn't change. So why was the time of Suzy's transfer so early?

Lisa believed that everything should be following the game, so naturally she was confused. She was facing completely different developments than what the original had planned.

In the original, Suzy being a spy was not brought up at all. As she couldn't use that as a basis, Lisa was troubled over how to explain.

Jungkook gave me a soft and sweet smile.

"You can stay as you are. The dangerous things, all of them, I can get rid of them instead."

Because Jungkook's breath was at her ear, Lisa's back trembled.

"You're reacting. I'm glad... I will go to your room again tonight."

"Do-don't Jungkook. To say these things in the classroom..."

"It was quiet. No one was able to hear it. Even if they did, aren't we engaged? There's nothing to feel guilty about."

"That's true, but..."

Since that night of excessive body contact, Jungkook had become more assertive. Whispering words of love during the day, holding hands, kissing while entwining their tongues-

Also, during lunch break at the school cafeteria.

"Here Lis, ahhh-"

"Ehhh!? Jungkook, ev-everyone is watching...?"

"Let me feed you, I want to dote on Lili... later I'll be cherishing you properly, so here, hurry and eat?"

"Oh, okay... mmh..."

Today's sandwich was lettuce and roast beef. It was the chef's specialty. The secret ingredient of pickles gave it an exquisite sourness that enhanced the flavour of the roast beef. It was delicious. Without a doubt, delicious.

"Lisa is like a cute baby bird. I'd lock you up in a bird cage... Here, it's the next bite. Ahhh-"

The sugary sweet lover's time. Since it was in the cafeteria, there were other students, they were all watching the (live) scene of Jungkook and Lisa with warm gazes.

But even so, there was still a young lady that was walking towards the direction of the both of them. Suzy bae. She stopped at Jungkook's left,

"Prince~, is the seat next to you available?"

She asked. This was also one of the events in the game, Suzy would eat her meal next to Jungkook... However, in the original, Jungkook approached Suzy who was eating alone.

"You wish to sit here? I understand, go ahead."

"Wow! Thank you~!"

At the same time she heard the approval, she tilted her head and gazed at Jungkook with upturned eyes. After showing this lovely gesture to a man in order to induce a favourable reaction, Suzy sat down.

"Then, we'll be eating outside on the terrace. Take your time."

And then Jungkook stood up to change locations.

"Eh...?"

"Didn't you want to eat here? I was enjoying my time with the both of us. You're being a nuisance."

Suzy was dumbfounded by Jungkook's decisive bluntness.

"Well then Lili, let's go outside. There should be some vacant seats."

"Y-yes..."

Despite it being Lisa, she was also surprised by the unexpected development. Being unable to keep up with the situation before her, she was ushered out by Jungkook, towards the outdoor terrace.

When Suzy was left alone-the surrounding people looked at her regretfully.
