High School (Axl Heck)

Chapter 7

Today was fun to say the least, the walk with Sue didn't last long because she went to her friend Carly's house.

For the rest of the walk, me and Axl held hands while strolling back to his house. I realise that I need to move out sometime because Frankie can't like me being there all the time.

"Axl, when should I leave your house and go to a different place?" I asked him.
He carried on walking, he had a 'thinking' face on and he finally came out with an answer.

"Never." He said, it was a different response because anyone else would have said 'in a couple of weeks' but oh well.

I chuckled and asked him again.
"But seriously Axl, I can't stay forever because I am costing you and your family more money as it is." I was a little worried about how almost everything they had was covered in duck tape because it was broken or ripped.

We finally arrived at his house and when we got inside there was a note on the counter.
'To Axl and Charlie,
We have taken Brick and Sue to the book fair in Chicago. Here is the money for food and whatever else.

We looked at each other and laughed. I can have Sue's room and he can have his own. I am going to do this all the way through until the last day... just to annoy him.

It was almost nightfall and we had just 'made' dinner... take-out.
"I'm going to go to bed." I said to Axl who was sat on the sofa.

"Ok. I'll be in, give me five minutes." He said. I went into Sue's room and went under the duvet.

Axl popped his head in.
"Why are you in here?" He asked. I shrugged and turned over, I was acting like I was mad at him because I wanted to see how he would react.

He sighed and sat on the bed.
"Why are you mad at me?" He asked, with a soft tone.

I sighed loudly and turned around, not facing him anymore.
"Charlie?" Axl asked, getting bored.

"Fine then, I will lay here until you tell me." Axl said and jumped on the bed.

At this point I couldn't hold back my laughter so I just laughed.

"What are you laughing at?" Axl asked, starting to chuckle.
"You actually thought I was mad at you!" I was still laughing so I turned to face him and he leaned in.

We kissed and ended up falling asleep in Sue's bed.
