Chris and Demi lay awake in their bed, doing there own thing. The two hadn't really talked since the encounter back at the arena.

"Come on Demi." Chris says, turning his body to face her's. "Why aren't you talking to me?"

"Don't act like you don't know why Chris. You aren't stupid, figure it out." She replied, harshly.

"Ok Ouch, for starters. Second I already apologized for what I said at the arena. So I don't really see the big deal here."

"Of course you don't. The fact that you felt jealous and not happy for my success is the problem. Because I'd put my feelings aside to see you succeed."

"Who said I wasn't happy for you. Just because I was jealous doesn't mean-."

"Stop." She raised her hand in the air, silencing Chris. "Look whatever, I don't care anymore. I need sometime alone so, your going to need to leave." She says, pointing towards the hotel room door.

"Are you kicking me out of our shared hotel room? Come on Demi, stop being childish." He replies

"Did I studder Chris?"

"Demi I-."

"Just go Chris. Leave me alone."

"Fine whatever, be that way. I'm getting a new room. Have fun alone."

"Oh I will, thanks for reminding me Jerk."

"You wanted this, not me. And I'm not the jerk here, you are. Why can't you let this go huh?"

She stands up, getting in Chris's face.

"Demi....back up."

"No I don't think I will."

"Come on already, back up."

"I told you to leave and you haven't. So why should I get out of your face? Are you going to do something to me?"

"I never said that, don't put words in my mouth."

"I dare-."

Chris wrapped his arms around her, trapping her arms in his embrace.

"L-let me go, now."

"Not until you calm down." His kisses her neck.

"Don't kiss me. Get off of me."

"Demi you need to relax, I'm just trying to calm you down."

She tried fighting his embrace but he was far too strong for her to do much. She exhausted herself trying to fight him, she lead her head on his chest. Her face was beat read, tears slipping from her eyes.

"Demi, look I apologize for what I did back at the arena. I shouldn't have let me emotions get in the way of your success. The fact is, I'm super thrilled with your new place on the roster. I think you deserve nothing but the best. I want to be tf here with you, i really do."

Chris placed her onto the bed, sitting next to her. She looked to the floor, tears slipping from her eyes, onto the floor below.

"Hey. What's really going on?" He asks, placing a hand on her shoulder. "You can tell me."

She wipes a tear from her eye. "I don't think I can tell you. I dont want to tell you."

"What does that mean babe?"

"I-." She stutters.... "I can't do these things at the same time. I can't do it."

"Can't do what, Demi?"

"I can't do this Chris. Us, I can't do this anymore."

His heart shattered.

"Y..Y-you what?" He said, a tear slid down his cheek.

"I love my job and I love you. Its beginning to be too much for me. I just want to focus on my career at the moment. I know its selfish but, you worry me too much. If I have you to worry about all the time, I won't be able to go to work. I'd quit for you."

Demi, dont do this to me plea-."

Before he could continue, she locked her lips with his one last time. The moment lasted for a while, as the two adults cried in each other's arms. She slowly pulled away, leaning her forehead on his. They both had their eyes closed, as the tears continued to flow for there eyes.

Chris broke there embrace, slowly moving over to his luggage. Demi's heart broke into a million pieces seeing her former boyfriend like this. It was true however, she didnt see her blossoming career being just that with her being with Chris. It hurt her to come to that conclusion but, it had to be done.

He finished packing his things as Demi sat on the bed silently. She couldn't bring herself to say anything to him. To her, she had said plenty already. She wasn't sure how he was feeling besides him being crushed.

He made his way to the door without saying anything. Before opening the door, he looked back to see Demi's broken body. She too had tears streaming down her face. He sighed, before opening the door, leaving her alone for good.

"W-what have I done. I'm such an idiot..." Demi cried, wrapping herself in her bed sheets.

****
Bet you didnt see that coming, sorry not sorry. I know a bunch off you will be angry at me so I'm sorry I guess.
