01- to you, in 2000 years

y/n's pov, year 845

I saw eren and mikasa, carrying some firewood, they obviously went out to get wood for the fires as it's starting to get colder now.

"hey, eren and mikasa!" I shouted, I was just wandering the streets, my mum and dad were at home looking after my younger siblings "oh hey y/n!" eren waved with a smile on his face.
as i was about to start talking again, the bell that meant the scouts were back from their mission rang and eren's face lit up "hurry! if we're quick enough we get too see them!" he exclaimed as he started running off, mikasa and I gave eachother a look and ran after him.

the streets were quite crowded so the three of us couldn't see them, I saw some crates and ran over to them, standing on top of them to get a better view of the scouts, eren and mikasa also stood on top of the crates, there we saw commander erwin, the leader of the scouts, looking down, he looked drained and upset. he suddenly looked over to us, me and eren had big smiles on our faces, I've always wanted to join the scouts even if it meant putting my life at risk, and so did eren, we've always admired them.

Commander erwin looked over to the both of us in shock and then continued looking down, the smile on mine and erens faces drop, I was confused. I get bad stuff happens out there but still. I turn my head too see so many injured soldiers, one had a bandage around his whole face. I stand on my tip-toes to get a look into to cart the horses were pulling and I see a man, lying unconscious with a bandage covering his whole arm. my eyes widen in shock, I didn't know how many people would actually get injured, now I see why my parents don't support my idea of joining the scouts...

I overheard some men talking "they sure got hit, didn't they?" one said, "yeah, the rest must've gotten eaten, that what happens when pride takes you outside the walls." another said.
I stood there, I was in shock, I've never seen this many people injured before. I snapped out of the staring into space when I heard a woman screaming.
"hello, hello. wheres my son? he should be with you all, please tell me he made it."
the scout she was talking to me spoke up
"I wish I had better news, give it too her." he said, looking over at another scout, the other nodded and walked over to the woman, she was given a cloth, stained with blood, she unwrapped it and from what I could see, there was her sons arm. she started to cry, as she dropped to the floor.

I stood there and put my hand over my mouth, I never knew the woman or her son personally but it still shocked me, I felt so bad for her. I was too shocked to even listen to what was happening anymore

when the scouts started moving along, I told eren and mikasa I was gonna start to head home, I did tell my mum I would be back to help her with my little sisters. so I started walking back, I wanted to take a slow walk back there, i was walking along the river when I saw this yellow lighting bolt, it shook the ground, my body went flying upwards "what even was that?" I said aloud, I looked up towards the wall and saw this titan, it was bigger than the wall itself!

my eyes widened as I stood there not being able to move, there was this massive explosion, I looked towards the wall too see a massive hole in it, my eyes widened even more, the titans are going to get in! and my house is right near the wall, I thought as I ran towards my house, I tried to avoid any rubble from the wall flying towards me. once I got to my house it looked terrible, the roof was caved in. I rushed inside hoping that my family was okay, but all I saw was my mum, crushed by a massive boulder, my dad and siblings were no where to be seen, tears started pouring from my eyes, I saw that my mum was breathing a little bit

"mum?!" I screamed, hoping to get a response out of her, but nothing I tried to move the boulder but a titan, no smaller than 5 metres came up from behind my mum and lifted the boulder from her, tossing it aside like it was some rubbish, the titan then threw her into its mouth, swallowing her whole, I knew it was too late to try and save her so I started running and running until I reached the boat, it was always there for emergencies like this so it was the only place I could go, I spotted armin standing up and pushed to the front of the crowd on the Dock, then I hopped onto the boat and ran instantly over to armin and his grandfather, I also saw eren and mikasa there, they were sitting down, as soon as I got there, I collapsed to the ground, I was exhausted, physically and emotionally. All I could do was cry, I mean I just saw my mum get eaten and my family crushed.

I just wanted my mum again, I wrapped my arms around my own body, missing my mother's touch, she always comforted me when I was upset, or anything of the such. then felt someone hug me but I didn't even have the energy to look up too see who it was, all I heard were the sobs of the person hugging me, and that person was eren.

hello! I hope you enjoyed the first chapter, sorry if its not as good as you expected, I did sort of rush it as I wanted to get it out there as soon as possible!
