01. Visible Crush

BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP !

Chase slowly wakes up and looks at his clock, which was indicating 7 AM.

"My lord just shut up !!!" Chase moaned faintly

He struggled to turn off the alarm, as he was doing it while still laying on his bed trying to blindly find the placement of the button. After almost 10 attempts, which clearly got the German Shepherd frustrated, he decided to just stand up and slam it with his hands.

"Finally."

After his normal early morning routine, which consisted in changing himself from pyjama to his normal uniform we all know, then brushing his teeths, he was on to the next step, which would probably be the hardest : Waking up the other pups. Everytime he would do that they will just either be mad at him, or they just wouldn't do anything until Rubble comes out at the very moment Chase mentions breakfast.

He decided to wake up Skye first. He had such a huge crush over the small cockapoo for over 5 years, but was always too afraid to tell her his feelings fearing rejection. Chase was also scared to just be too nervous trying to telling her and that he would ruin his speech talking to her. There was clearly signs that he clearly loved her, and pups know they have a crush on each other without asking.

On Chase's side, he's such a calm and mature pup who knows how to keep his cool when it comes to missions and seriousness. But when it comes to Skye being in trouble, or being next to talking to her, he becomes so emotional and blushes a lot. When any pup except Marshall would try to confront him about his crush on Skye, he would just stay in denial nervously until they give up. On Skye's side, the same happens with her, except she is able to hide it a little easier, since she's already emotional in her everyday life. However their reactions are opposite, as Chase starts to speak louder when he is nervous, while Skye becomes extremely shy and quiet. That's why many people think they would make such a good couple.

The German Shepherd was approaching Skye's puphouse and decided to not use his megaphone to wake her up. Instead, he quietly opened the door, just so he could see her sleeping. And there she was. Sleeping peacefully on her bed like a queen would. Chase could even see her smiling in her sleep and hear snoring weakly and hapily.

"She's so cute when she sleeps",  he thought.

The 14 years old Shepherd nudged the *Sleeping Beauty* gentily and then, she opened her lovely eyes.

"Skye, pssst, Skye... It's time to wake up" Chase whispered.

The Cockapoo seemed to look uncomfortable for a moment and then realized it was Chase calling him out.

"Oh, good morning" Skye said while blushing hard

"Yeah, g-good morning Skye" Chase responded, blushing even harder

"Wanna help me waking up the others ? " Chase then asked, after a little moment of silence

"Sure, wanna see their face when you're gonna tell them for the 468th time in a row, "GUYS ITS TIME TO WAKE UP" of course ! " Skye said, a little annoyed.

Chase toned back and didn't expect that answer, but right after,  Skye started giggling, and Chase had his smile back on his face.

"Nah seriously of course it would be funny" Skye added after laughing

They left her puphouse and when outside to prepare their "prank" to the other pups.

"Okay what we're going to do is that, basically, I scream first, then you start screaming, then I run at the doors and start slamming it while you're just screaming in the megaphone" Chase said, holding a quiet laugh
