Chapter 2

My dad just returned from his trip and I was excited about his return. I haven't seen him in a long time although I always spoke to him on phone. When he got back he told me he had something important to tell me that when I'm not busy I should come and see him. I wanted to know so much that I told him that he could tell me now that was when he told me that it had to do with his job I was surprised cause he made it sound urgent. I told him he should tell me.

He started by telling me he loves and he will always be there to take care of me even if I hate him after what he was going to tell me. I was about to talk but he told me I should wait that I can talk when he's done. That was when he told me that he was in the mafia and that he was the leader of his own group.

I was shocked I didn't know what to say I know he expected me to be angry , insult him tell him I hated him but I didn't do any of those things to his surprise I started to smile he was surprised.

He asked me why I was happy. I told him I wasn't happy that he was in the mafia and I was happy cause he told me to my face and I didn't have to find out from someone else.

Then I asked him if I could help him and then I also told him I wanted to learn how to fight and also learn to use a gun he agreed but told me that if he sees that I can't handle it he will stop so from that day I started helping him run the mafia.
