Colby's POV:
"I LOVE YOU COLBY BROCK." Ashley shouted in my ear very loudly.
"What..?" I responded.
"I love you, I am in love with you." She cried out.
Is this really happening? The girl I love, loves me back? I realized I'd had been quiet for a while so I responded to her.
"I love you too Ashley Golbach."
No POV:
"Well you gonna take me out?" Ashley asked.
"Tomorrow night? 8pm?" Colby answered.
"Sounds like a date." Ashley responded.
"I should probably get home though." Ashley mentioned.
"No, I'm driving you home. That's an order."
"An order..?" Ashley responded in a questioning tone.
"Since when have I ever listened to orders?" Ashley said while getting closer to Colby.
"Since right now." Colby responded while grabbing Ashley's face.
"Fine, I'll listen to an order tonight, but for a price." Ashley demanded.
"What price, dear?" Colby questioned.
"You have to kiss me." Ashley answered.
"That easy?" Colby said as he put his hand around Ashley and started pulling Ashley closer.
Their lips met. He kissed her as if he had been waiting his whole life for this moment. They kissed for at least 30 seconds, until Colby finally pulled away.
"Not a bad kisser, but I've had better kisses." Ashley said teasing him.
"Oh yeah?" Colby said slyly.
"Yeah. You could do better." Ashley teased.
Colby almost immediately pulled her in for a second kiss. Only this time he kissed her so passionately she almost lost her breath.
"Alright, you win." Ashley whispered as she pulled away from the kiss.
"You know I am." Colby responded confidently.
"You know, I still need a ride." Ashley reminded.
"Right." Colby responded.
As they walked to Colby's car, they were laughing and telling jokes. One of Ashley's ex boyfriends came up to them.
"Fucking cunt ." The manmurmured.
"Excuse me?" Colby shouted.
"I called Ashley a cunt. It's what she is, no? She broke up with me cause I 'cheated.'" The man shouted and it seemed to bother Colby.
"Don't say that about her." Colby expressed.
"Oh yeah?" The man spoke while getting closer.
"Colby, it's fine let's just walk away, He's not worth it." Ashley whispered to Colby.
"No, nobody says that to 'My' Ash." Colby spoke.
"My Ash." Hearing those words gave Ashley butterflies. Ashley had never been called "Ash", she liked it.
"Boy, I will beat you up." the man snarled.
"Do it then." Colby responded slyly.
"No! Don't fight him! He's not worth it!" Ashley shouted at Colby.
"Ash, if anything bad happens to me, promise me you'll run." Colby responded.
"No, I'm not leaving you." She whispered to him.
"Fine." Colby said as he approached the man.
"Alright then, Imma beat your ass." the man said.
Ashley passed out from the stress.
Colby's POV:
Ash passed out. I was so worried, but I was glad she wouldn't see this. I wasn't gonna let anyone hurt her.
"I love you." I whispered.
Next thing I know, i'm on the ground. I hit the man and hit him as hard as I could. He hit me harder, I blacked out. Next thing I see is Ash. She is on top of me, shaking me.
"COLBY! COLBY! WAKE UP PLEASE!" Ashley shouted.
I felt so bad that I couldn't respond and for the pain I'm putting her through right now. I passed out again.
Ashley's POV:
He blacked out again, he's such an idiot! I grabbed my phone out of my purse and called the police.
"911, what's your emergency?" The first responder asked.
"My b- 'friend' was just beaten up my ex and he's going in and out of consciousness. Please you have to help!" I said.
"Ma'am where are you?" The first responder questioned.
"563 Windmill Lane, Los Angeles California!" I shouted.
"Police are on the way Ma'am, What's his name?" The first responder asked.
"Colby Brock." I replied.
"How old is he?" The woman asked.
"24!" I answered.
"What's your name and DOB?" She asked me.
"Ashley Golbach, March 12, 1998." I responded.
"Thank you, ambulance should be arriving, I'll let you go." The women said.
"Thank you!" I responded.
I heard the sirens.
"Hold on Colby." I said aloud.
