It was almost nighttime after they finally concluded that it was time to go back to the dorms. Or suites, rather. They had pretty big dormitories because of their ranks.

They bid goodbye to each other before parting ways.

"Ugh, I'm so tired." Dawit complains, laying down on his somewhat soft bed.

Donghyun doesn't reply. Instead, he just keeps quiet as he changed into more comfortable clothes.

"Are you good?" The older asks. It was uncommon for his friend to be so quiet, especially after a day like that.

"The poison..."

"I didn't drink it, I'm fine." He reassures for what felt like the eight time that day.

"I know. You just can't seem to get away from trouble, can't you?" Donghyun sits back down on his bed and let out a yawn.

"Not my fault." Dawit shrugs, "It's pretty annoying, but I can't do anything about it. I'll just have to continue until they finally get tired and give up."

The younger let's out a sigh, "Come on, let's go to sleep."

"I can't, actually. I have to get to my building in an hour."

"What? Then why did you agree to come with us?" Donghyun asks in blasphemy.

Dawit shrugs, "I just wanted to have some fun before a long day of work. Or night, rather." He grabs a blazer that was leisurely thrown on his bed and puts it on top of his polo shirt.

"Dude, you can't just do that." The other scolds, worried for his health.

"I know, no need to lecture me. I promise I won't collapse, and if I do, I'm calling you, okay?"

"You mean calling me after you wake up?"

"Yeah."

Donghyun let's out a sigh, "Fine. I'm going to bed." He lays back down and drapes his blanket over him, turning over to face his back towards his friend.

Dawit looks at him pitifully before fixing up his hair and grabbing his motorcycle keys. He felt bad, but it's not something he can just quit. It's his destiny, whether he likes it or not.

When he arrived at the city to his company building, he parks his vehicle in the parking lot and takes off his helmet. It was dark by the time he arrived, so the building was full of lights.

Tired after such a long drive, he begrudgingly got off his motor and practically dragged himself inside.

He goes into the elevator and presses the button to the 7th floor where his office was.

When he arrived, the employees greet him from their cubicles as he walked through the office workspace.

"Hello everyone. Work hard, okay?" He encourages and he sees half of them turn red with blush. Disgusting, he thinks.

Dawit subtly rushes to his office and locks the door behind him to assure no one can come in unless he calls them, which is unlikely since he wouldn't want anyone to see the mess of his office.

Letting out a sigh, the heir walked over to his office chair and leaned backwards into it. He let's out a sigh before eyeing the stacks of paper on his desk.

"I've got the whole night to finish at least half of this before having to go back... I'll survive." He's worked longer hours than this. Surely he'll make it.

Dawit takes the first paper and begins reading.

...

Four hours in and he could feel his head spinning. He was barely through even half of the stack.

He'd occasionally asked his guard to bring him some food a few hours ago, but it was barely enough to keep him awake for the night.

"Ah, I can't pass out now." The redhead sighed and rubbed his temples in an attempt to rid of his head ache and dizziness.

Dawit stands up to get some water and immediately regrets it. He stumbled as he walked to the door before blacking out, failing to unlock it.

When he wakes up, he realizes that he's not in his office anymore. His head was still aching, but he could definitely comprehend that he wasn't where he was before he passed out.

"The... infirmary?"
