'Max? Max! Where are you? Answer me Max!'
'What?'
'They're here Max!! The crazies are here!!! They're trying to find us!! Get out of your house and run!!'
'What about my family?'
'Max they'll be fine! JUST RUN!!'
I ran as far as my sore legs could take me. I saw Max ahead of me. I also heard someone behind me. Right. Behind. Me. It was a crazy. Max saw him and started running back to save me. 'RUN,YOU STUPID!! RUN!! LEAVE ME! GO RUN!!!' Max ran away. I tripped on a rock and fell. The crazy laughed at me. All I see is black.
I awoke with a jolt. 'MAX!!' I panicked. 'What's wrong Rita?' I realized I wasn't in a crazy's lab. I was in my room. 'Rita?' I calmed down a little, but my heart was still pounding. 'Rita!! Answer me!'
'I'm fine. I just...' I didn't want to tell him about my dreams.
'Rita, I can still hear your thoughts. What dreams?'
I remembered my whole dream and Max saw what I remembered of it. 'I have those dreams too. It's nothing to be ashamed of.'
'Max?'
'Rita?'
'Get out of my head.'
He was silent for a while. He wasn't thinking about anything.

'Max? I'm really sorry about what I said. Can you talk to me about the dreams now? I'm really sorry.'
No answer. I tried reading his thoughts but for some reason I couldn't. 'Max? Answer me.'
I waited.
'Max, this isn't funny.'
'Max?...MAX YOU BETTER ANSWER ME THIS IS NOT FUNNY IF YOU ARE JOKING AND DONT TALK NOW, I WILL NEVER TALK TO YOU AGAIN!!'
No answer. I waited an hour and kept yelling at him telepathically. I came to one conclusion.
The crazies got him.
