Chapter 10 - These Deadly Lies

(Context - Episode 14, during the challenge)

[Gore Warning! It's time for Spring to go crazy)

"I was the one who killed Rose and Daisy"

What. No. No no no. You. YOU of all people. Of ALL the wolf dragons in this pack. YOU killed them.... y-you're their father, damn it! Why would you kill your own kids?!

Too Late.

Spring tensed up with rage. Greenmint seemed to immediately recognize what was happening and stumbled away from her daughter in terror. Redmint let out a soft snarl and then he scoffed. "You know what. Get mad Spring... Get mad over these stupid objects... nothing will convince you..." his grip tightened on Test Tube and Fan, then suddenly, Redmint let go. Spring snapped out of her anger and quickly kept forward to catch her object friends as they fell from the high rock. She wasn't fast enough.

Test Tube shatters upon hitting the ground, while Fan lands with a soft thud.

Green liquid splashes onto Spring's nose, slowly slipping off and landing at her paws.

And everything goes down hill from there...

"YOU BITCH"

Spring suddenly sprang up the side of the highrock, grabbing Redmint's throat in her jaws. Foreststorm jumped back with a loud shriek, while many Wolf Dragons all around let out loud gasps of shock. Unable to speak due to his neck being crushed, Redmint instead let out a gurgle as blood seeped into his mouth and started dripping through his teeth. Redmint went limp, his front paw, previously holding Fan and TT, resting on Spring's shoulder. Green fire starts to burst off Spring from random parts of her body, spewing from her mouth and from the sides of her eyes. Furiously, she drags Redmint's limp body and then flings Redmint off the Highrock with a loud snarl. Redmint lands with a thud and then coughs as he rolls to his feet.

Now with Redmint out of the way, Spring turned to Foreststar. The wolf dragon was crouched down before her, and although his face was twisted with fury, his eyes were wide with absolute terror. What? Did he REALLY expect me to stay calm when his lackey, my failure of a father, just killed my mother? Test Tube... she's my only true mother, she's been there for me, not Greenmint... Foreststorm then stood up, slowly and shakily.

"You- You know what?! I was never gonna give up my spot as Leader to your father, even if you did join! I don't care about the Kingdom Customs, Breezestar never did!"

Breezestar? I've never heard that name, yet it sounds so familiar.... Spring glanced at Redmint as he collapsed once more. His ear flicked.... Did he hear what Foreststorm said?

Spring then shook her head, and more sparks of green fire escaped her body. She raised a paw and then swung it as hard as she could right at Foreststar's face. Her claws dig deep into the white and green Dragon Wolf's flesh, completely tearing up his right eye. Blood splatters all over the two of them, covering the right half of Foreststar's face, coating Spring's paw, and getting on her muzzle too. Well, he definitely wasn't gonna be able to see through that eye ever again. Foreststar collapsed in front of Spring, not making a single sound even as his eye was torn. Not a single sound, not even a yelp. He just stood crouched under Spring.

Foreststar started laughing.

"Have it your way... Spring"

He spoke in a low voice. Then he looked up at Spring, with a wild grin on his face, blood trickling down his face. Spring let out another snarl and roughly shoved Foreststar with her head, making him slide down the back of the highrock, landing next to some of the observing Wolf Dragons. Spring was surprised. None of the Wolf Dragons seemed to want to attack her. Instead they were terrified of her. Seems like something horrific happened before Spring hatched... was it that wolf Foreststar spoke of? Did Breezestar terrify the kingdom?
