7) Party Ending

After dinner Sonic told Tails: "Tails, it's been really a wonderful day, I loved your celebration, your party and your pizza, now it's me who's in debt with you."

Tails smiled and said: "Don't worry Sonic, like you said, no debts between friends... and thank Cosmo too, she made the pizza and the chili sauce."

Cosmo got red even before Sonic started thanking her, then she remembered something and said: "Tails, did you remember to water Sherry (She's their daughter but now she's a plant and not a seedrian... long story)?"

Tails took a while to understand what she meant, then he said: "Oh CRAP, I forgot, let's go Cosmo"

Then they run as fast as they could inside DJ's room.

Meanwhile Amy hugged Sonic and said: "It's been really wonderful today, thanks for the surprise"

Sonic smiled and said: "It was a surprise for me too Amy"

Amy: "Really? Why were you acting that strange this morning if it was a surprise for you too?"

Sonic: "I asked Tails a marriage party for today, but I had no idea what he was going to do... then I thought he even forgot about it."

Amy: "Oh, got it."

Sonic: "This pizza was really wonderful... do you think you can...?"

Amy: "...Make something like this or even better? I'll be happy to try Sonic."

Sonic smiled and said: "Thanks Amy... I wonder when Tails and Cosmo will be back... it's quite late and I'd like to go take a shower and sleep."

Amy: "Yeah, me too... after this pizza I'm feeling really sleepy, but we should first thank them and say goodbye."

Sonic: "I think the same, this is because I'd like that they come back soon."

Tails and Cosmo just got inside that room and Tails said: "Smart idea Cosmo"

Cosmo smiled and said: "Thanks Tails... I knew that I had to do that"

Tails hugged her, kissed and said: "I love you so much"

Cosmo kissed him back, then she said: "I love you too, but remember what we're supposed to do now"

Tails: "Right, let's go"

Then they dressed themselves like Sonic and Amy once again and made their way through the secret path to get on the stage.

Tails: "Are you ready Cosmo?"

Cosmo took a deep breath and said: "Yeah, let's go"

Tails got on a console and started working on it.

Slowly the lights got low on that disco, except a spotlight directed on Sonic and Amy.

They looked to the stage, both F. Sonic and F. Amy were there, singing that song.

Meanwhile the true Sonic and Amy just noticed that their seats were on different platform compared to the other and it was raising, everyone could see clearly them.

The song got prolonged a while and ended slowly, everyone thought it really romantic.

When it was over, Sonic and Amy took a while to enjoy and gave eachother a delicate and deep kiss.

Suddenly Amy fainted and Sonic worried about her, he hold her in his arms and asked: "Amy, is everything ok?"

Sonic didn't receive any answer, he kept calling her for a while, but no answer, he was getting really worried about her, eventually she opened her eyes and Sonic took a deep breath of relief.

Amy said with low voice: "Sonic... it's been a wonderful day... I'm tired... can we go home please?"

Sonic smiled and understood what happened, she was only tired and needed to sleep, he reassured everybody and took her in his arms.

Sonic: "Guys, I'm sorry if we made you worry, but everything's alright, she's only tired and I'm tired too... now I have to bring back Amy... I mean... my dear wife... home, but please, keep enjoying this party if you want, goodbye guys."

Everyone together said goodbye to Sonic, however he didn't know how to leave that platform, after a while it started lowering.

He waited until it was at ground level and headed to the exit with Amy in his arms, sadly he was feeling terrible because the party just got spoiled.

When he left the building, he felt a hand on his shoulder, he turned himself and saw with a smile his friend Tails, he said: "Thanks Tails, it's been really wonderful today, but..."

Tails smiled him back and said: "Don't worry, party's supposed to end here, so you're not spoiling anything"

Sonic took a breath of relief and said: "Thanks Tails, that makes me feel a lot better".

Tails took a look at Amy, she was smiling like Sherry the first day that he had to take care of her, he said: "It seems that I actually made you totally tired, right?"

Sonic noticed what Tails was talking about, he took a look at Amy and said: "Yeah, you really devastated us... but I'd wish to do it again"

Tails: "I guess it's better if I don't keep you here, it's too cold."

Sonic smiled and said: "Yeah, better if I bring her home, thanks."

Tails: "No problem" and started going back inside, however Sonic was feeling that he was missing something.

Sonic: "Wait a moment Tails"

Tails: "What's up?"

Sonic: "I don't know... but something tells me that there's something wrong"

Tails: "Well, let me think... no, nothing wrong, maybe you should only exchange your rings"

Sonic: "I can say that it's different... oh, now I see... we should give you back our dresses"

Tails smiled and understood that he was talking about the marriage dressing that those machines made them wear, he said: "Keep them, they're yours now."

Sonic: "Thanks Tails, I don't think we'll need them, but it's really appreciate"

Tails: "Don't worry, everything for you, Sonic... I mean, brother"

Sonic smiled and said: "Goodnight Tails, if you need help to clean after the party, I'll be happy to help you tomorrow"

Tails smiled and answered: "There's no need Sonic, but thanks... goodnight."

Then Sonic resumed his way home with Amy in his arms, while he was walking he stared at her for a long time, she was sleeping like a baby and Sonic got really heart warmed by this.
