*At Home*
I walked through the front door to find both of my parents sitting on the couch patiently waiting for me to arrive. I knew something had to be up because they are NEVER, I mean NEVER patient. Normally I would be getting more than 1,000 phone calls from my mother on the way home.
"Come sit with us, darling." My mother said sweetly. Yup, something's up because she never calls me darling. It's always my father that says things like that. Did they switch personalities or something? Oh well I guess.
I walked slowly over to my parents. They really didn't seem like themselves. They stood up so that I could sit, when they stood up I noticed they both were hiding something behind their backs. I made it look as if I didn't notice their hands being suspiciously behind them. Walking towards them I thought of all the possibilities that they could be planning and what things were sitting in their hands behind them. I sat down where they wanted me to.
"Sooo.... What did you need me for?" I questioned.
"Well hun, we have decided that its time for a change." My mother replied simply.
I just laughed. "You're kidding right? Hasn't there been enough change? I mean we just moved to a new house, I moved to a new school, and you guys got new jobs! Geez! Are you guys not seeing the big picture here?!" I started to lose control.
"Well baby girl, this change involves getting rid of you." My mother stated flatly with a terrifying smile spread across her face as she pulled out a knife from behind her back with my father doing the same.
She came at me with the knife, but I dodged it just in the nick of time. I tried to run down the hallway, but my dad's hand caught my forearm and pulled me back.
"No!" I screamed as I punched and kicked, but my father held me as I was drug towards the basement.
Instead of carrying me down the stairs, they threw me. I felt the bruises forming as my body hit the cement floor at the base of the stairs. I heard my parent coming down the stairs. As much as it hurt, I lifted myself up off of the floor trying to get away. I ran into the darkest part of the basement where no lights could be turned on.
"Come back here Jessica!" My father's voice boomed throughout the basement.
"You are only prolonging the inevitable." He added sounding closer.
I could see my parents' figures getting closer, but they were now far enough from the stairs that I figured I could get past them and away. I felt like I had the best chance I could in this situation, so I booked it for the stairs. I was half way up the stairs when I felt a hand grab my ankle and drag me down.
"NO! PLEASE JUST STOP! GETTING RID OF ME DOESN'T HAVE TO BE LIKE THIS!" The eco of my voice screeched throughout the basement and up to the main floor door. I tried to get out of the grasp of the hand but could not manage.
CRACK!!!
Before I knew it, I had banged my head on the stairs with a sickening sound. The blood from my forehead was flowing into my eyes, with blurry vision I still kicked and fought trying to get free.
They dragged me back, ignoring my hits. I was thrown into the corner of the basement, my back hitting the cement wall causing me to have more pain throbbing throughout my body.
My vision was leaving, I was hardly able to keep myself conscious. My parents leaned down and stabbed me multiple times in the stomach. I then heard something hit my parents over the head. Which was followed by a scream and a thud to the floor.
"Jess!" A concerned and slightly familiar voice exclaimed, but I wasn't conscious enough to decipher who it was. But I was conscious enough to not care who it was. I got up and ran out the front door to the house, then down the street holding my stomach close.
I then came to a familiar place. I wiped the blood out of my eyes and realized I was standing right outside the gates of the abandoned park. That's when I heard someone calling my name, I was afraid it was my parents so I climbed the fence and ran straight into the woods. I heard rustling behind me as if something or someone were following me. The noise suddenly stopped.
I walked on, starting to get dizzy. I saw something white ahead of me. My walking pace grew faster. As I came up to the white spot, I began to see a figure emerging around the white speck. I got closer and stopped once I could see the face of this thing.
It was not as tall as Slenderman would be. It also wasn't wearing a suit. My head got even dizzier. I stepped closer and saw an extremely familiar man standing before me. I dropped down to his feet.
"Don't worry Jess, I've got you." The voice told me as a pair of arms picked me up. Then everything I saw went black.
