Loss of a loved one..

The whole group stared in shock as their town was practically already destroyed. Skid jumped out of the car while it was slowing down, finding his mother with a puddle of blood around her. "M-Mama! MAMA PLEASE RESPOND!!" Lila's body was cold to the touch, as she didn't reply. Skid's eyes filled with tears. "Pump! Aren't you learning to be a doctor? I-Is my mama gonna make it..?" Pump walked over to check her pulse. He gasped as his eyes filled with tears too. "S-Skid I'm so sorry....." Pump hugged him. Pico, Casandra, and the rest of the newer Hatzgang watched with sorrow in their faces. Skid cried over Lila's corpse for a long time. He never wanted to leave her side after what happened to her.

"Come on, Skid....we gotta go before the corruption reaches us..." Roy implied.

"We ain't leavin you here.." Casandra added. Skid refused still. "I-I'm not leaving her..! Just go..!!" Pump sighed and picked him up. "You have to accept the fact that she's go-" Skid punched Pump in anger, frustration, and grief. "YOU HAD NOTHING WITH HER COMPARED TO WHAT I HAD!! EVEN IF WE WERE FRIENDS MOST OUR LIVES..!!" Roy tackled him for his own good. "Ross! I need backup!" Skid was screaming, attracting many corrupted souls to come over to where they were. "Skid stop screaming! You're attracting more than we can handle!" Skid soon calmed down and went to fighting the corrupt yet again. Pump started to struggle and had almost been infected, but he wasn't gonna go down like last time...

Not when his friend needs him..

Once the corrupt souls got more violent, they started to seek blood too. Pico had used his normal Uzis, but Skid and Pump bludgeoned and stabbed some with a shovel or two. 

"Skid! There's one behind you!" Roy shouted as he used a shotgun he found off of the road. Skid quickly killed the corrupt soul behind him before he was grabbed by a particular person.
