As Willow got back to herself, everyone was cheering to the princess, honoring her success. The king lifted his now full daughter and asked in worry :
"Are you okay? What happened? You got your wings!
- And most importantly why is your hair cut like that ?! said her mother in a stunned voice.
- Oh there were black Ibexs in there, Willow said, and I brought Xatingth back, he was in there too.
- What?! the parents said in unison, but black Ibexs are super dangerous!
- I know, can we get out of here now", the princess said in an exhausted voice.
And with a click from the king's fingers, three nurses and one doctor appeared and lifted her, then carried her to the castle. She couldn't see anything, but heard the energized crowd and her father's loud commands. She then drifted off to deep sleep.
When she woke up, Willow was laid in a comfy and enormous bed with machines beeping around her. She asked a nurse what was going on and she explained that she had fainted and that they were healing her as much as possible because of some "news".
"What are those "news", said Willow.
Oh the king would like to tell your majesty himself and I would like to say your wings are absolutely beautiful."
It was the first time someone called her that. It was strange but she had to admit: she liked it. As she thought of what could be those news, the door of the infirmary blazed open.
"You woke up! said the king in a strained voice.
- Yeah I know it's amazing, Willow said ironically.
- Stop that! I really thought you were never going to wake up again!
- Alright, alright now tell me those news, said the princess impatiently.
- Oh, right," he reasoned himself in worry.
He then explained it all. Well, not really, he more blurted it out :
"You were selected to represent the water element in the element tournament in a week, he said in one breath.
- What?! Are you kidding? she asked in disbelief, it's not possible!
- Yes it is, and you have to prepare for the tournament and get some sleep."
As Willow stared at her father incredulously, words didn't come. She was going to compete in the element tournament, in a week, against all the other elements, just after a traumatizing episode for getting her wings.
"What the heck?! she said, because nothing else could've been said, she was terrorized in disbelief.
- Take me to someone who can explain everything about the tournament, now", she said tensing.
But no one could blame her, because this was going to be hard to survive, real hard.
She walked into the dark room and commanded blindly for someone to help her. A deep voice responded :
"I can help you, and I would love to serve you, so sit, princess, and listen."
She walked to the desk and saw a horrible looking creature sat in a wooden chair. She sat down, and waited for the mage to start talking, and when he did, she settled in her black velvet chair.
