Natalie’s POV;

Leo, I didn’t exactly understand why he had come to me to find his mate, probably because I was one of his closest friends growing up, but you know, whatever. I was more worried about the coronation. I was told that Katie would help me prepare for it, but still. It’s nerve wracking.

So here I am, looking at books in the library when one page caught my eye.

It was a portrait of a beautiful women, I looked at the caption, it said the women’s name was Peyral. Peyral, why was that name familiar? Then it hit me, she married Leno and had Sail. Peyral was absolutely stunning, she had waist length light brown hair, with light blue eyes, and pale skin. The thing though was, in the picture it actually looked like the sun was shining on her, and there were little star patterns on her. The stars, the moon, and the sun all envied her. I could see why, she was very beautiful. She was wearing a long red dress, that looked like it was in Vogue. But for some reason, her facial features were familiar to me, and I couldn’t understand why.

I looked at the next page in the book, it was of a woman and a man in an embrace; the man had dark black hair with blue eyes, he was wearing a sort of suit. The woman, had long curly blonde hair with violet eyes, and she was wearing a blue gown. The caption had said Isra and Baikel, they were also very beautiful.

Suddenly, someone walked into the library, I closed the book. “Hey,” she said, “i’m Nikki, you must be Natalie, correct?”

     I nodded. “Hey."

Nikki sat down on the chair next to me, and gently grasped the book I was holding. “You’re looking at this book?” She asked, thumbing through the pages.

     “Yes."

Nikki, stopped at a page, it was the page of Isra and Baikel’s embrace. “The famous wedding embrace,” she muttered. “Isra’s beautiful isn’t she?” Nikki, stared at the picture.

     “Sure, why?” I prompted her.

Nikki paused for a second, “it seems like every bride, before their wedding or coronation here, always looks at this book, and at this exact page. I don’t know why, though. Nobody does, it just seems to draw them in."

I took the book back from Nikki and stared at the photo again, it was very enchanting in a way. “Eh,” I closed the book, “what’s your job”? I asked the brown haired girl in front of me.

“I’m a member of the art group here, I was called in, like all of the past women in my family to help you with knowing more about the society and customs/things of the Royal Family."

I was shocked, I didn’t even know that they had that here! “Cool,” I put away the book, “so what should I know?"

“Everything,” Nikki smirked in an evil but funny way, “everything."

Nikki got up again and went to one of the shelves and pulled out a huge leather bound book. “Let’s learn about the immediate Royal Family!” She announced holding the book up like a prize.

Nikki sat down again and flipped through the pages until she found the page she was looking for. “Okay, let’s start with King Danick, Tyler’s father. Danick has a brother, named Cato, Cato married a girl named Aubrey and they have 2 kids, Jane and Brooke. Anyways Danick married a girl named Tanya, or as you know her Queen Tanya, you’re soon to be mother in law, and Danick and Tanya had Tyler, and Katie. Katie hasn’t found her mate yet, and well you’re Tyler’s mate.”

Nikki took a breath, as I sat there listening to her, she continued on. “Jane, Cato’s daughter is married to a guy named Kyle, they live in Sweden, I don’t know why, I think it might do with Kyle’s family. Brooke on the other hand, she’s a photographer, but she should be at the coronation, everyone should be at the coronation.  That’s all i’m gonna tell you for now.” She breathed.

I looked through the book she was holding, “how come Katie hasn’t found her mate yet?” I asked.

“Katie’s really busy, I don’t even think she would have time for a mate, she does a lot of stuff in government."

I nodded, trying to understand what she was saying. “I should get going.” I told Nikki.

She smiled, “yeah you probably should. I’ll see you later!"
