Today me and mattheo decided to take the day to go over to Islas house to visit her mum to drop off the photos and baby gender invitation and to see her of course as I hadn't seen her in a while.
"You sure you want me to come with you"? Mattheo asks in the car. "Yeah her mums fine with you she's cool unlike my mum", I say. "Do you think your mum will try to contact you at all"? He asks. "Probably not but it's her loss", I say. "If she can't handle it she just can't be in the picture it's her choice at the end of the day", I say. "Fair enough which way left"? He asks. "Yeah left here then straight up", I say as he turns.
"You have the invitation and everything right"? He asks. "Yep all set", I say. "This one"? He asks pointing to a house down the road. "Yep this is it", I say as we drive up. "Stop at the gates and I'll open them", I say as he pulls up. I get out before walking over to the gates buzzing the phone to let us in.
"Who is it"? Isla says. "Isla it's me did you forget"? I ask. "No course not there open", she says. I get back in the car before mattheo drives up to the door before parking up getting out. "Nice house", he says. "Yeah it's cute", I say as Islas mum opens the door.
"Oh my fucking god y/n"! She shouts coming over hugging me. "Jesus Christ that baby's growing fast", she says as I hug her back. "Nice to see you too bella", I say. "Oh yeah this is mattheo", I say as mattheo walks over. "Oh right yeah the riddle boy nice to meet you honey", she says. "Now come on in Isla and blaise are in the kitchen it's cold out here", she says as we walk in.
"Y/n"! Isla shouts running over. "Omg your bump", she says. "I know I know", I say laughing. "Oh yeah I have something for you bella", I say passing her the invite with the baby scan inside. "What is it"? She asks. "Open it to see", I say as she opens it revealing the invitation. "Oh my of course I'll come", she says. "My god", she says looking at the scan. "I'll put this on my fridge", she says walking over to the fridge.
"Alright", blaise says walking over to mattheo. "Yeah you"? "Perfect", he says smirking. "Oh my god you have to see this", Isla says pulling me upstairs. "What", I say laughing. "I got my outfit for the baby shower finished", she says opening her bedroom door. "Oh my god that's well nice", I say.
"And matching heels", she says holding up some sparkly heels. "There well cute Im going to steal them if you don't hide them", I say laughing. "I'll hunt you down for them",she says. "Anyway have you still not heard from your mum"? She asks. "Nope and anyway it's for the good she chose to not stick around so there's nothing else to really be done about it", I say. "Good on you my mum went ballistic when she heard about the letter", she says. "I bet she did", I say laughing.
"Anyway my mums made us all some lunch and that so I need to go check on that", she says standing back up. "Anyway how did the scan go", she asked. "Good everything's fine and the baby's fit and healthy and on track so yeah", I say. "That's good have you got everything you need"? She asks. "Mostly just a few bits left but they can wait", I say walking down the stairs.
