A scream was heard breaking the silence in the Shouchun Palace. Sounds of broken furniture and glassware shattered followed. The maids outside the chamber started to cry, fear evident on their faces. They were glancing at the door, which was shaken from inside by its prisoner. No one even dared open the said door.

"All of you leave immediately!"

Xie Wang came and ordered everyone present to leave. He was unfazed by the current predicament. He had to deal with the Black Emperor's season of fire every year, but this year, the monster became more furious as his mate's whereabouts were unknown. Imperial guards start barging in to protect the Imperial family but they were attacked by the Ghost Army in black, killed immediately. Their Yellow Emperor body was seen lifeless on the throne. As his second prey was dead, the Black Emperor suddenly toppled down in pain. The man howled in sadness, cried, and fell to the floor unconscious. Xie Wang immediately carried the emperor and killed whoever was on his way.

"I didn't expect his trip to the Wu Kingdom would trigger his fire seasons early" Luo Fu Meng came with her maid Liu Qian Qiao. Xie Wang bowed down to Empress Dowager.
