When Weiwei woke up this morning she did not expect the proverbial bomb that was going to be neatly dropped on her lap before the day was out. If she knew what was going to happen before she left for classes today she would have been more prepared and also put more attention into her appearance. Maybe worn something that better showcased her beauty then her slightly faded red, black, and white skirt set or at the very least put more effort into her hair than tossing it up in a carefree bun.

The day started innocently enough when she was in Professor Xiao's History class waiting for the instructor to arrive. She was sitting in the middle seat of the second row minding her own business just trying to get some extra studying in before the start of class when she was interrupted by a male voice asking if anyone was sitting in the chair next to her. She was about to give the rando male a sugar coated barb to leave her in peace because she was not interested when she looked up and noticed that it was the professor's son. The illusive Xiao Nai. Her heart skipped a beat and was a miracle that she was able to choke out that the seat was vacant.

She didn't understand why out of the entire lecture hall he decided to sit by her. Maybe it was his preferred chair. The spot she was sitting was close enough to both the front of the hall and the exit. That was after all why she chose the spot. Maybe he wanted to be in a spot where his father would be able to see that he was attending. Or just maybe he wanted to be in a spot that would force people to pay attending to Professor Xiao by sitting close enough to the front. The possibilities were endless and were more than what she could compute in her flustered state.

As the crowds started to swarm, Weiwei tried to make herself as small as possible when she saw the masses pulling out their phones and started taking pictures of the mysterious man next to her. She was after all not the sort of person who purposely tried to stand out. It was quite the exact opposite in fact. Weiwei could just imagine that her face had to be matching the color of her outfit at the moment and took the textbook that she was originally reading and blocked her face. She both hoped and dreaded that Xiao Nai would not pay any attention to her. He was after all half of the individuals of the elite club that she knew that were able to fluster her this badly. The other half of that elite club was her in-game husband, Yixiao Naihe.

After what seemed to be hours when in all actuality were minutes Professor Xiao finally arrived and started class. Unfortunately due to the massive spike in attendance the professor decided that he needed to test the classroom and who better to test but the pretty female sitting next to his son. What Professor Xiao did not realise is that Weiwei actually enjoyed his class as dry as it was and had been further researching the subject on what was taught in the previous lecture. So when she stood and gave her answer the professor could only joke that he chose someone who actually paid attention before joking that he used to be handsome in his youth. After the classroom's laughter died down Professor Xiao started his lecture piggybacking off of what Weiwei said before.

The lecture was both incredibly informative but was delivered in a mind numbingly dry format. Like all of Professor Xiao's lectures, Weiwei like always paid full attention and took meticulous notes much to the secret amusement of the man sitting beside her. If she had chanced a look while her head was stuck in her notebook she would have been able to see the man next to her was watching her out of the corner of his eye with the smallest smiles gracing his lips instead of reading the book infront of him like was believed by everyone in the room.

When the lecture finally ended Weiwei packed her belongings as quickly as she could and was ready to make a hasty dash out the door when she noticed that both of her exits were blocked. On one side was one of Xiao Nai's daydreaming fangirls and on the other was the man himself. She first tried to gain the attention of the fan girl to no avail before she turned her attention to Xiao Nai and got his attention by clearing her throat. He asked if she wanted to be let through and she gave him a shy little nod and quickly stepped into the aisle. Weiwei remembered her manners and turned to give him a tiny thank you with a nervous smile gracing her lips. He gave her a gentle smile and told her that it was no problem before calling her Luwei Weiwei. Causing Weiwei's eyes to bulge and her to rush out of the room not bothering to check if he was following her or not.

By the time she made it back to her dorm she chose not to disclose to her roommates that she heard him call Weiwei her main gaming handle and by the time she got to the library she decided that she must have imagined the whole thing and turned her focus to her homework. The whole time not noticing the handsome shadow that had been trailing her since she had exited his father's classroom.

Hours passed by the time she decided that she had done enough studying for the day and was going through her messages. To her surprise there was a message from her in-game husband with a video attachment in it. She put in her headphones and hit play. It was the Bandit Girl video that they had created with his brother in arms. She did not expect it to be as professionally edited as it was nor having a score. By the time she finished the video she was in tears. The ending was not the one that they had originally shot. Taking a moment to get her emotions under control she opened up Chinese Ghost Story and began to compose a message to Naihe. As she was typing, a chatbox from Naihe appeared.

'I enjoyed sitting next to you in class today.' Weiwei's eyes widened in shock when she read the message. Another message popped up. 'Look behind you.'

She quickly turned around and scanned her surroundings until she saw Xiao Nai leaning against a bookshelf with his laptop balanced on one of his arms. He gave her a soft smile as he walked over to where she was sitting placing his laptop down next to her before sitting down. She was able to see his screen and like hers he had Chinese Ghost Story up with a certain male avatar in white that she knew oh too well along with a chat dialog box to her character.

"Yixiao Naihe?" Weiwei uttered near catatonically.

Xiao Nai's smile just widened as he leaned over and asked "Weiwei, would you like to join me for dinner?"

As the two left the library Professor Xiao who happened to be sitting at the librarian's desk as he was the professor on duty that night pulled out his cell phone and texted his wife. 'Dear, I just witnessed our son ask a girl out for dinner. It's the same one I told you he sat by in class today.' He let out a soft chuckle when he read his wife's reply.

'It seems like our stoic son didn't take after either one of us in the relationship department.'
