"Sofia- wait!" I ran after her
I just lost one friend, I didn't need to loose another.
"Save it mal" Sofia said, walking towards the door
"Wait- please! Can't we talk this out?"
"What is there to talk about, mal?" Sofia said, with a bit of a venomous tone at the end
Mal froze. She was right... There was nothing she could say at this point and time.
Mal opened her mouth to speak but reluctantly closed it. The words just couldn't come out
Tension filled the room
"Heh... I really thought you cared. Guess that was just another one of your lies"
And just like that,
She left.
Leaving Mal by herself to drown in self pity. She was alone.
Again.
