Max P.O.V.

I woke up to the smell of bacon, I was about to get up when I noticed that there were arms around my waist. I looked down to see a sleepy Jack, i got a idea! "Light bulb" I said smiling evily.
I ran downstairs.
    "Can you hand me a cup of cold water?" I asked Jack's older sister, she nodded and gave me my cold water. "What is it for?" I looked at her, " Um... Er... Nothing, I'm thirsty." I turned around and went back up the stairs into Jack's room.
    "Get up!" He stirred around " Leave me the fuck alone." He flipped back over, so I decided to pour the cold water in his ear. "Oops!" I made that sound like the people off of a tv show.
He looked over at me.
     "You're so dead!" He threatened, I bolted down stairs. Where to hide.... Oh wait that won't work, we're fucking werewolves! I looked around real quick and was tackled to the floor.
     "Ow! My ass hurts now, thanks to you!" I snapped. he looked amused, then he picked me up and walked out side... Oh shit. he walked us to the pool and through me in.
      "What the hell!" I shrieked, then pulled him in with me. We both laughed at each other, then footsteps gathered around us we looked up to see angry looking wolves.
     "Boys! Get out of the pool! And go get dried off before you both get sick." Said Jack's mom. we nodded, I got out first then held out my hand for Jack, he grabbed it and pulled me back into the water. I glared at him.
      After we were finished changing and dried off, we joined the others for breakfast. "So, you boys ready to find your mates in a couple of days?" I looked at Jack's mom and just nodded. "Yeah I bet who ever it is will be awesome." I said as I took a bite out of my bacon.
     I wonder who my mate was... it was getting under my nerves not knowing. Maybe it's Jack, nah probably not even though there is something speacial in Jack. I looked t him, "Are you truly ready to get your mate?" He nodded.
      When I got done with my plate, I got up and walked into the kitchen to wash off my dishes then put them back.  Jack came over to me, "I'm nervous, I am like seriously freaking out. We will find our mates in two days Max, what will we do?" He asked, I just shrugged.
     " I don't know Jack, suck it up buttercup!" I said and patted his cheek. To be honest I was nervous too, I just didn't want him to know how nervous I really was. "Hey, let's go to starbucks. I need my White Chocolate Mocha with extra whipped cream." I said as I grabbed my keys.
      "Okay." he said as we walked out the front door. We got into my 1965 four speed Ford Mustang and drove off. Man I love my car, it's so beautiful it's a midnight blue color.

AT STARBUCKS

We walked in and got really weird looks, I just rolled my eyes at the people. As we got to the Chasier he asked us what we wanted and we both got the same drink and I got a muffin.

"Are you guys a couple?" A blond girl came over to us, I looked at him then back to her. "Yeah we're totally a couple!" I said with sarcasm in my voice. she looked at me then said " I was just asking cause only gay guys get starbucks." I looked at her " No, that's not true. Straight guys like us" I said pointing to Jack and I "Get Starbucks cause it's good shit."
     She nodded then gave me a slip and it had her number, " what do you expect me to do with this?"  I asked " Why did you give me your number?" I heard a growl come from Jack, I was shocked along with everyone else.
      I looked at him, I got up and grabbed his sleeve " C'mon we are going. Now!" I said as I tried to pull him to my car. People were crowding, and I got into my side and honked and they flinched.
    As we drove off I had to ask what that growl was about, "What was the growl for in Starbucks for?" "I-I, don't know..." he looked down in shame. " That was really weird."I said and then dropped the Conversation.
   Why did he growl? I'm so confused, it's going to my head. I'm just going to get us back to his house so we can finish our best friends day filled with a bunch of fun stuff.

At Jack's house

    As we walked in the smell of freshly baked chocolate chip cookies filled the air. "Mmmm" I moaned at the smell of the air. Jack looked at me and growled again. WTF!!!!  Why does he keep doing this today?
Jack and I went into the kitchen to see his mom making some more cookies. "Hey Mrs.B!" I said as I grabbed a cookie, "Max, sweetie how many times have I told you that u can either call me mom, Natalie, or Luna?" She said. I nodded my head, "I know, I just like pissing you off!" I said and hugged her. She hugged me back, when she did Jack growled again, man he needs to stop doing that.

Jacks moms pov.

When I hugged Max back jack growled a warning growl to me. I didn't know what it meant at first but, I do now. So I let go of Max and looked down and finished making the batch of cookies. While I did that my Hubby walked into the kitchen and wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed the top of my head.
"I need to talk to you." I said in a serious voice, "in your office, now."
He looked at me weirdly, the nodded. We walked into his office and shut the door. "What's wrong?" He asked. "James, I think our son has found his mate..." I mumbled the last part. "WHAT!? When? How?" He asked. Thank the moon goddess that we have a sound proof office. "I don't know, but all I know is that we know the person he is mated to." I said as I walked up to him.
"Who is it?" I looked at a picture of Jack, Max, James and I from the zoo when the boys where like ten or so. "This is his mate." I said as I handed him the photo and pointed to Max. He looked confused at first then was happy that his son had found his mate. He ran to me and lifted me off the ground while trying to kiss me. "Okay that's enough James!" I said, "I have to make sure the cookies aren't burned!" He let me go, and I went to check on the cookies.
