Chapter3

Max's p.o.v

As I'm standing there crying Jack comes over to me and hugs me, he whispers in my ear "I promise you, we will find your sister." He pauses and a few tears escape from his eyes, "I can't stand seeing my mate like this." he says. I look at him in shock but still crying, "Mate? I'm your mate?" I asked.

He just leaned down and kissed my lips, I kissed back "Max, will you be my mine?" He asked. "I would love to." I put my arms around his neck and kissed his lips. We hugged for a few minutes until I got a wiff of Lylas scent. I pulled out of his warm embrace and ran towards the scent and followed it. As I run I continue to notice that I'm close to the pack boarder, her scent is on the next packs territory. "What the hell fuck it!" I said as I ran into the other packs territory to only be tackled by a white wolf with black dots everywhere on it pins me to the ground snapping its teeth every time I try to move. Why are you here in my territory?
I came to find my sister

Your sister wouldn't dare come here

Look there was an attack on my house and I didn't make it to my family in time and she was kidnapped and her scent leads straight to your territory. Please just let me find where the scent ends?

The wolfs expression changed to a softer one.

Okay I will notify my pack that you are searching for her.

I began to cry and the wolf got off of me and changed into a teenaged male. "MAX!" The teenage male snapped his head up with me as he glared at Jack. "Jack what are you doing here?" The kid said to him in a warning tone. "Look Domminick in here to get my mate before he does anything stupid now can I please have him back?" Domminick looked at me then back at Jack "Max here is searching for his sister now you can help him, he says that her scent is here in my territory." He paused "See you boys at school tomorrow!" He said before disappearing into the bushes.

Jack ran over to me and held me in his arms. "Let's follow her scent." I said as I got up and started walking. We continued to walk till we smelt blood and death. This worried me so I started running. We ran until there was a cliff on top of that cliff was a body. A female body, I ran faster until I was next to the body, it was Lyla she wasn't moving and she was surrounded by a big pool of blood. I fell to my knees and began crying harder. Jack came up to me and held me as I cried. "Why is my life fucked up? I have no family left where am I supposed to go?" I began crying harder and he began crying with me. "You can stay with us, you have us, we're family." He kissed my head and I nodded. We stayed there for an hour before getting up and walking back to our territory. We get back to his house and his parents look at us. A tear ran down my face again as I looked at my hands covered in blood from Lyla. Jack puts his arms around me and kisses my forehead, "I'm sorry baby." I hug him and he hugs back. "I need to shower." I told him as he picks me up and brings me to the bathroom.

He hands me a towel then brings me some of his clean clothes. I put his clothes on the counter in the bathroom and picked up the underwear he gave me. "Your underwear is cute." I said as I giggled as he came up to me and wrapped his arms around my waist and looked into my eyes. "What is mine is yours so there your underwear too." I kissed his cheek then turned on the shower. He disappears and comes back with another towel and more clothes. I look at him and furrow my eyebrows "I need to shower too." He said and closed the door.

We both began taking off our clothes and put them in the dirty clothes bin, we jump into the shower and cleaned off. We get out about twenty minutes later and dry off. I walked to Jacks room with out my towel and hold his clothes I start changing into the underwear then the sweat pants he gave me, he also gave me a shirt that was baggy on me. I flop on his bed and get under the blankets. I was about to be fully asleep when I felt two arms wrap around my waist and pull me close to him, "I love you Max goodnight." And with that I fell asleep in an instant.

I woke up with a big smile on my face, but then I remembered the things that had happened last night, my life is shit.
"Babe, your life isn't shit." Jack said. "How did you know what I was thinking?" I asked.
"As mates, I can read your thoughts. You can read mine too." He said and wrapped his arms around me and kissed my cheek. I melt into his side and loved the feeling of his lips on me. He got up and I felt completely alone again, he walks over to his dresser and pulled out his football jersey, underwear, black skinny jeans, and some socks. He handed them to me and said "Wear these today and we will get your stuff from your house." I nodded and stood up and started changing. As I got done changing I turned around to see jack pulling on some clothes.
   He turned around after getting fully dressed, he walked over to me and kissed my lips. I looked at him after we broke apart, "I want you to mark me,'' I paused. "But I want to mark you back so the wolves know who we belong to." He smiled, "Of course love." And with that he leaned down and kissed my sweet spot I couldn't help conceal the moan that escaped my lips.
    Jacks canine teeth came out and he bite down into my flesh, I felt him pull his teeth out of my neck then he licked up the blood that threatened to flow down my collar bone. A few minutes later I see him smiling at his mark.
    "My turn." I said as I kissed his lips then trailed kisses down his jaw bone and down to his neck to his sweet spot, I felt him shiver as I kissed it, a few seconds later my teeth where canine teeth and dug into his sweet spot. I stayed like that for a few minutes and pulled my teeth out of his neck, I lick the spot and cleaned up the running blood making sure it didn't stain his shirt. I smiled and kissed his lips as we stand.
     We walked down the stairs, I smiled as I smelt bacon being cooked. "Hey Mom!" Jack and I said in unison, "Hey Dad!" We said again. "Well hey there! I see that you both smell like each other. Oh I see your marks." Jacks mom said. I blushed and buried my face into Jacks side. "It's alright babe," he leaned down and kissed my lips, "Don't be embarrassed it's a natural thing love." He said.
    "Okay." I said as I leaned up and kissed him passionately. "Well let's go and sit down." Jack said, I nodded and sat down at the table as Jack sat down next to me and held my hand. A few minutes later a plate was placed in front of me, it had bacon and omelet, and toast. "Mmmm thanks mom." I said and happily dug in.
    I looked over at Jack and he was to engaged in his food to notice me. After we finished eating we put on our socks and shoes on. "We will take my car." Jack said and started dragging me to his car. "Okay love." I said and hopped in.
      Okay yes my school is an all werewolf school, different packs go to my school as well. As Jack drove us to school, I blanked out and stared out of the window. As the school showed up I was happy cause I was going to see my friends, yes Jack is the popular jock guy in school, yes I'm popular too, but not as much as Jack is.
    Jack parks the car in the student parking lot, he walks over to my door and opens it for me and takes my hand in his. "Thank you my love." I say to him as he wraps his arm around my waist and walks by my side up to the school. Today's going to be a good day if you ask me.
