Chapter Thirteen

I stood there, the words spinning in my head. I felt my knees start to give out on me. I wanted to just lie on the ground and crawl into a ball. I couldn’t believe this was really happening.

I was living in a nightmare. A nightmare, that there was no escaping and no waking up from.

I felt his grip tighten more around my waist and the knife come closer to my neck. Tears started falling from my eyes.

“Please let go of me. I am begging you to let me go. You got what you wanted please just let me go.” “I will NEVER let you go! What does Dave have that I don’t!? I couldn’t believe the words that he just said. I couldn’t understand why any guy would want me. What was so great about me?

I still didn’t move; I wasn’t about to let him win. “Why don’t you just listen to them Sophie” Justin whisper in my eye. I closed my eyes and screamed.

I didn’t know what I was doing but the next thing I knew I had kicked Justin and fell to the ground. I crawled my way to Dave and Hunter.

Dave helped me to my feet and I turned around to see Justin do the same. I looked at Dave and Hunter “RUN!”

I could hear Justin behind us trying to get to us. We were almost to the top when I tripped and fall. I felt Justin grab my leg and start pulling me to him. “Let go of me! Let go!” I kicked at him but he wouldn’t let go. Dave and Hunter tried to grab my hands but they couldn’t reach me.
