~AN~

Hello~
Hope you're all having a good start of the week.

READ PLEASE:

I just wanted to point out that Dona wasn't 'shocked' in the last chapter because of all that was happening, given that as a Donna, she's seen a lot of things.
Rather, she was mostly shocked about Kimura being the person perpetuating the acts of violence by himself and the fact that he was able to extremely violent thin without hesitation.
Maybe I should've made it clearer in the previous chapter.

Enjoy this chapter and please don't forget to comment ❣️

Kimura's POV:

I took Dona to a fancy restaurant by the sea. We were given a table by the large windows with a beautiful view on the sea.

We were approached by a waiter and we ordered seafood, given that Dona did not want to eat meat at that moment. Shortly after, we were served and we began to eat our lunch in comfortable silence.

I couldn't help it but glance at Dona from time to time. Earlier at the warehouse, she'd said I'd scared her a little. However, I doubted she'd actually been scared. Her body language wasn't that of someone who'd been afraid or traumatised. If anything, I believed she'd been shocked to see me act the way I had. But scared? No.

'She was literally smiling with me shortly after having witnessed what had happened with Keita,'

I huffed lowly, a little smile on lips.

'What woman doesn't run off after witnessing all that?'

All exes of mine, specifically the ones who'd witnessed me shed blood one way or the other, either ran away, begged for me to let them go, or became traumatised to a point I couldn't touch them without having them jump in their shoes. They'd all been weak. Very weak.

But then, I looked up again and there was Dona- carried away and casually watching videos on her phone, whilst eating. I smiled.

However, my smile slowly disappeared after the same question crossed my mind a second time.

'What woman doesn't run off after witnessing all that?'

I put my utensils down and stared at her for a while.
