This one happened when I was like 6 years old I think.

Ok, so I was visiting my friend who had a cottage in the woods, so we started playing hide and seek outside, she started counting, so I tried to find a hiding spot. I went around trying to find a hiding spot, when I came across this other cottage, about 5 miles away from my friends cottage.

It looked old, and looked like it was abandoned. Since I was like 6 years old, I wanted to get  closer look. I went up to the door of the cottage and looked around. It was really old, the windows were barred up as well. Since it was October I thought that this person was decorating. I then heard my parents searching for me, so I left that old cottage and went back to my parents.

I told my parents about the cottage, but my friends mom was confused. She said that there was no other cottages around, so I was VERY confused. I told my friends parents and my parents to follow me, but it was pretty late, so I had to show them the old cottage the next morning.

When it was morning, i showed my friend, her parents, and my parents where the cottage was. I walked the same route I walked to the cottage, but when we arrived  it was gone. I was so confused, but my parents and friends parents thought it was just my imagination, or that I hit my head in a tree. 

The memory just came back to me today, and I don't know if my friend found the cottage, or if she didn't. ;—;
