Graduation ceremony
Chairs were getting filled with students, all of us wearing the same black gown and cap.

Conversations were made, and pictures were taken. I saw some cry and others laugh. Graduating high school is an emotional roller coaster. Most of my classmates are moving away and pursuing their dreams.

I was happy, but still very unsure about what to do with my future and career.

Ive always wanted to known for something, maybe my writing, art, musical talent. It was always a dream of mine to be an inspiration to others.

Harry and I make our way to our fold up chairs. The worst part of the ceremony, watching others do their speeches and students getting called up one by one. So I won't bore the hell out of you, and waist your time with this part.

We throw our caps up into the air. Cheering, and clapping at ourselves graduating. Louis showed up, he stood on one side of me and Harry was on the other side.

I'm surprised Louis did graduate. He was smart but he's been in so much trouble through these four years. He skipped most classes as well.

"Are you coming to the party tonight?" I ask Louis, as we left the gym. The air felt cooler, making it easier to breathe. "Probably not, I don't like that type of shit" He shakes his head. "Oh but sneaking off of school trips is?" I tease him, he rolls his eyes.

"It's just not my thing, drunk girls trying to grab my dick and their boyfriends trying to fight me" He says, putting a pick in his mouth and biting down on it.

"Hey congratulations!" A voice comes up from behind us, I turn to see Ashton. I think he was pretty oblivious to the fact Harry and Louis were standing right by me. I smile and hesitated to say anything back.

Louis shifts himself, raising his eyebrow. "Thanks, you too" I finally got something out of my mouth. He waves then walks away. "Wanna explain that?" Louis asks. "Nope" I say, not wanting them to know about last night.

Even after Ashton apologized, they wouldn't forgive him. They're always gonna feel that way about him now. I get it and I understand, but I just don't want them to hurt Ashton. Louis I'm not too worried about at this point but Harry is a different story.

"I did it!" Harry runs up to me, with a cheeky smile. "What?" I ask confused. "I asked Lilian to be my girlfriend" He says, making it click in my head. "Oh yeah, how'd it go?" I ask, knowing it was good news. "She said yes" His smile widens. "Yay" I give him a high five.

"Also mum and I have a surprise for you" He grabs my hand, taking me outside to Anne's car. In the backseat laid a box. I grab it and opened it, eager to see what was inside. It was pieces of paper. I look closer to see what it said.

"Adoption papers?" I say, reading the words. I look up and to see Harry and Anne standing there, she held her phone up to catch my reaction on video. I didn't know what to say. My mind was saying all sorts of things but I couldn't get my mouth to move.

"We want you to be an official part of the family" Anne says, my heart warms. I feel hot tears prick out of my eyes. "So?? Are you gonna join the Styles family?" Harry grew impatient, and wanted an answer fast. "Yes" I finally got words out of my mouth.

I jump into Harry, giving a big hug. The turning to Anne, she smiles at me. "Doncaster Styles, I'm not a big fan of it" I try out my new last name, and it didn't sound amazing but it didn't matter. I finally have myself a real loving family.

Anne wanted to celebrate our graduation with a nice dinner, she takes us to a fancy restaurant. She made Harry and I dress up, I wore a black dress and black heels.

We sat at a circle table, with 6 chairs. But there was only three of us. "What's with the extra seats?" I ask Anne. "Oh my parents and my nephew are coming to eat with us. Your cousin, Alex graduated too" She explains. I haven't seen Alex since middle school.

He had a crush on me then, hopefully not now. It wouldn't be too weird if I was just Harry's friend but now that I'm becoming a member of the family, It'd be weird.

They walk into the restaurant and found us, Anne waved to them so they go the right direction. Alex was in a suit, he wasn't bad looking but he's definitely not my type. I kind of have a thing for guys who want nothing to do with me.

Dinner was boring, there was small talk. The food was good but expensive as hell, all I got was steak and potatoes.

We got home and I got ready for graduation party at Lilian's house. I put on a tight navy blue dress, with a slit on the bottom on my upper thigh. I sprayed my vanilla perfume all over my body while I stand in the bathroom.

Harry walks in and started to fake gag. "Jesus, that's really strong" He reaches for his cologne. "Yeah so bad" I say sarcastically. "So what are you gonna do tonight, since Louis won't be there" He asks me, spritzing the fumes on himself.

"I don't know, get drunk and make new friends?" I shrug. "Sounds fun" He leaves the bathroom.
