When it was the darkest of nights, no moons were visible. just dark clouds and a few scattered stars. TideTurner's webbed claws sank into the unfamiliar sand. He hadn't felt the tiny bits of rock on his claws in so long, he missed the sea, but he didn't need his parents. If they liked Cavern and Opal better then fine! So be it. He hated other hybrids, that's why he was hunting for eggs in this desert. He didn't think he would find any, but he had heard that Thorn, the queen of the scorpion den liked a nightwing, perhaps he could find an egg. Their egg.
TideTurner stumbled, he had tripped over something, but what? there! an egg! He looked to examine it. It had a sunset pattern on it, but with some stars, like late evening. this had to be a hybrid egg! He closed his eyes and whispered an enchantment. The egg glowed with power, but it then died down soon after. He carefully put it back where he'd found it. Finally, he'd gotten his revenge. This egg could destroy the world. As he walked away, the sand shifted and another egg emerged from the sand. Tideturner didn't notice this egg, and left it be, maybe he would not get his revenge. This egg could save many lives.

Queen Scarlet had ordered her most trusted guard to scout out the sand kingdom, there had been some stirring of the dragons there, and she had to go check it out. just then, something caught her sharp, amber eyes. As she looked down, Two eggs lay in the sand. She carefully landed. "What?" she said out loud, confused. "eggs?" Who would leave their egg out in the middle of the desert like this? "hm..." she said, turning around and looking for the dragons these eggs could belong to. "Queen Scarlet will be very pleased!" She took the eggs carefully in her claws. Oh, how happy the queen would be!
