MOVING WASN'T ALWAYS FUN"

The Josie was dreading was here moving day the day she and her mother will move away from her home town , the day she will have to leave behind a life she always knew , people who loved and cared for her , people who watched her grow into the smart and strong woman she is today. But the person she will miss the most was her older brother Aiden who choose to stay with their father in grandview because he didn't want to leave his girlfriend which Josie understood since Aiden and his girlfriend have just started dating only a year ago but she was still sad she had to leave without him the only other person who got her besides her mother. But of course she was gonna miss her godmother Delia Banks and of course her godbrother Ned , it was all new to her moving to a new place without her dad and brother wasn't something she thought will ever happen. Josie and Aiden both grew up seeing their parents so in love with each other nothing seemed to ever get in their way but not everything is has it seems behind close doors things are so much more different. The drive was long and tiring Josie's only escape was putting in her headphones and listening to her travel play list she created the night before she and her mother set out on their long journey to beacon hills california a small town on the outside of california but it was better then living in a busy city. Listening to her music all she can think about was the argument her parents had the night before leaving she couldn't get the words her father said that night "Honestly it's best if we never met i regret falling in love with you and have kids who have your gift but i'm glad Aiden doesn't want nothing to do with that weird shit as for Josie she's my greatest disappointment" trying not to cry she looks out the window. Lost in her thoughts she never noticed her mom was snapping her fingers in-front of her face trying to break her from her day dreaming state finally snapping out of it she removes her headphones,
"Jesus Josie trying to get your attention was a pain in the ass" Melinda chuckles "What where you thinking about are you okay sweetie?"
"Yeah just thinking if i'll actually make friends here. You know it's hard for me to make friends who don't think i'm a freak for being able to speak and see the dead" The dark haired girl says looking at her mother
"I know Jos but it will be okay I promise it will get better with time" Melinda takes her daughters hand
"Mom I know what you are trying to do but it's not helping your only friends are the only people who you trust and one of them is dead i'm sorry i know it's hard to speak of her for you but not everyone was expecting of your gift" Josie says looking at her mother
"Yes you are right but the people you excepted me for me are the only ones that actually matter most to me sweetheart and you will soon realize that for yourself sooner or later and when you find those friends never let them go" her mother says looking at her child before looking back at the road.
The rest of the car ride was silent but just made the young girl think even more about what her mother just said to her the thoughts racing through her head became to much for her she just wanted to stop thinking all together she didn't want to keep thinking of something so ridiculous almost to the point of tears. The young girl looked out the window reading the sign that said "Welcome To Beacon Hills" not sure what to make of it she sighs lowly not wanting her mother to hear her, Josie was an outsider all over again to a town she has no idea of and how the people of this town will react to her gift once she told them how she can see and speak to the people who are no longer of this world.
Has the Gordon's pulled into their brand new home Josie had this strange feeling someone was watching them but she didn't know who or what it was but she felt uneasy would have been the word to say but it was she just felt something different then uneasy just couldn't put her finger on it. As Josie and Melinda got out the car looking up at that new home it finally it her she was never going back to grandview again and maybe that was for the best.
"Jo can you help me take all this inside please sweetheart" Melinda called out to her daughter
"Huh what oh yeah of course" she looks at her mother before helping with the boxes that where stuffed into the car. Taken everything inside little by little Josie couldn't shake that feeling as if she was being watched wherever she moved too in the room it was weird. But being a paranoid 16 year old girl it was just her imagination wasn't it, it couldn't be a ghost in beacon hills right it's a quiet little town nothing bad happens here and if it was a ghost they should have moved on by now since it was a smaller town then grandview she hoped. The hours passed by but she barely touched anything in her boxes only the clothes she had packed away in suitcases and bags Josie chose to go downstairs where her moved was almost done with the kitchen decor it was obvious Melinda loved their new home but it was also obvious that Josie wasn't a huge fan of the idea of living here. As the young girl saw her mom dancing around to the music she couldn't help but smile it was the first time in awhile that her mother seemed truly happy again after the divorce to her father Josie's mother fell into a deep and dark place until she chose to move away from it all leaving behind a life she once knew what her most was leaving her son Aiden behind but he was older and chose to stay with their father Josie chose to be with her mother. Maybe it was gonna be all okay living in this town if it meant her mother would be happy again, a few hours passed before they heard a knock at the front door be looking at each other and heading together to the door too see who was there. A strawberry blonde girl and two boys one who had a buzz cut hair cut and one with a cricket jaw where standing at the door holding a basket.
"Hi we're sorry we just wanted to welcome you both to Beacon Hills" the girl spoke
"I'm Scott Mccall and this is Lydia Martin and Stiles Stilinski" the boy with the cricket jaw said
"Why thank you that was lovely of you Im Melinda Gordon and this is my daughter Josie Gordon" melinda said smiling "Why don't the three of you join us for dinner we are having pizza and i kinda ordered more then I thought"
"Thank you we would like that" the buzz cut boy said
As the three kids entered the house Josie saw an other girl standing behind by the street light looking into the house before she can go over to her the girl disappeared. She didn't think too much into before shutting the door and making her way to the table with everyone sitting there talking getting to know each other.
