A Dance

Green and blue eyes slowly opened up. The pupils that used to be thick X's became thin and needle-like as the light hit them. Kai blinked a few times to adjust his eyes before sitting up in his bed.

Akira knocked on Kai's door excitedly. "Kai~! Wake up~! We need to get ready for the party!" Said Akira before she opens the door to his room a peeks in, looking at him with a bright smile on her face.

Kai's hair was all scruffy and messed up. He had just woken up after all. He looked at her with a tired expression before sighing, a small smile forming on his face.

~time skip~

Kai had finished bathing himself as he stepped out of the shower. He grabbed a towel and wrapped it around his waist before walking over to the mirror, grabbing a second towel to dry his hair off with.
After drying off, Kai put on something formal. He looked all fancy, pretty, handsome. He walked over to his mirror to see how he looked. He looked like some sort of prince or royalty. He wondered what his mother and father would think, knowing he will have to up hold the family name once he arrives at the party. ...The party... A 6-7 hour party to celebrate heroes and wealthy families. Kai dreaded the idea of going. Having to uphold his family's name and respect to everyone there. Kai closed his eyes, taking a deep breath to calm himself before opening his eyes once again.

Akira walks into Kai's room.

Kai turned around to face her, he couldn't help but stare in awh. She was wearing this long, absolutely stunning, light purple dress that matched the color of her eyes. There where crystals beaded into the dress as well as purple, blue, and pink flowers. She looked absolutely beautiful. Her honey-gold hair was curled.
She had a beautiful shade of pink blush on her cheeks, she was sort of nervous actually. "How do I look...?" She asked softly.

"Like my sister-" Kai responded jokingly before smiling softly. "You look amazing. Just... please make sure no one tries to get handsy with you..." Kai responds.

Akira playfully rolled her eyes as she walks over to him. "I'll be fine."

(Lol idk what Kai would wear- I couldn't find a suit that I liked- but I assume he would try to at least go with the same color scheme as Akira.... So........... something like this I guess— but a dark purple instead of black or some shade of gray-)
