On the next morning, Shinji noticed that Takemichi was not being himself after his return from yesterday's night. He then realised that the future Takemichi finally leap back to the future and will meet the future Naoto as both of them will have a discussion on how to not let Kisaki Tetta and Mikey meet each other. They also will try to figure out what's the trigger to bring Takemichi to past or back to the future.

Today, Shinji decided to go out to buy groceries from a nearby grocery store since their food stock are nearly empty. He told the 'past' Takemichi that he will be back as soon as possible.

On Shinji's way back home after buying the groceries, he stumbled across a fight between a group of five older boys and a boy who looked around Takemichi's age. The boy was totally outnumbered and got beaten real bad yet he still did not give up and try to throw punches towards his opponents.

Shinji got impressed by the boy's will to fight as he reminded him of his beloved little brother so he decided to help the boy out. Shinji obviously win the fight as it was a one-sided fight to begin with. Even though his opponents are older than him by age but then again they are not stronger than him by strength. It only took Shinji just a few minutes to win the fight without any injuries, thanks to his monstrous strength and incredible fighting skills.

The boy was totally mesmerized by the strength that Shinji have shown in the fight. You can see his eyes sparkled when he looked at Shinji. He wanted to pay Shinji back but Shinji just brushed him off since he did not want to receive any rewards for whatever good shits he have done.

Noticing that he has been at the outside for a long time, Shinji quickly leave the boy and made his way home, not before giving the poor boy some band-aid to treat his injuries.

But there is one thing that Shinji did not know. His meeting with the boy today will lead him into something that he never thought will happen before.

What kind of something? Let's just wait and see.
