Chapter Two

Ivan's POV

After Jayden and his sister left I skated some more. I was a lil bit bummed out. It felt good to relate to someone. I decided to walk on the beach for a bit. I walked and watched the sunset. I didn't realize how long I was out. Next thing I knew, Cam was blowing up my phone that I need to get home for dinner. I always lose track of time on the beach. I skated home as fast as I could. Right when I got there Alejandro was waiting at the door

A: You're late

I: Lost track of time. Where's mom and Cam?

A: Already at the neighbors. I decided I'd wait for you. Go get dressed.

I: What's wrong with what I have on?

I felt a force hit my eye. Did he just punch me?

A: GO

I covered my eye while running to my room. That's the first time he's hit me. I felt anger building up inside but I contained it. Didn't wanna expose myself before a family dinner. I wasn't ready for that. I did a quick shower and put a suit on. I looked in the mirror at my black eye

I also had a slight cut on my nose. Can't hide that from mom. Oh well. I put a bandaid on. I went downstairs to see Alejandro still waiting. We walked over to the neighbors then knocked. It was a nice house. Jayden opened the door. He's our new neighbor?

I: Jayden?

He smiled big and hugged me. He only waved at Alejandro. He looked back at me and pointed at his eye. I knew what he meant

I: It's nothing buddy. I had an incident earlier. I'll be okay

He pulled my hand and I followed him inside. Everyone was at the kitchen table. I kissed mama on the cheek then sat between her and Cam

MM(Marisol): Oh they're here. This is my other son Ivan and my husband Alejandro. Guys, this is Monty, Ray, Jayden, and Y/N

I: Hi

MM: Ivan what happened to your eye???

I: It's nothing mama. I got into a fight earlier at the park. I'm fine. What's for dinner

R: I made lasagna. Hope that's okay

I: I love lasagna

C: *whispering to Ivan* I know damn well you didn't get into a fight. Fill me in later

Ray walked back in with the lasagna. He cut a piece out for everyone and we ate. We made small talk throughout the meal

M: I'm really digging the pink hair and tats

I: Thanks. Got the idea from my best friend. Our hair matches but he has way more tats than me

M: Dad can I dye my hair pink?

R: *laughs* Maybe. So Ivan, Cam, yall do any sports?

C: Not me I'm more of a gaming type of guy. That's just what I prefer. Ivan on the other hand

I: I do multiple sports. I box at the gym. I'm captain of the high school football and basketball team. And I also do baseball

R: You don't seem like the type for baseball

I: Not normally but I like to push my limits. See what I can do

R: Speaking of school. They all start tomorrow. Maybe yall can walk together

I: I can drive them

R: You sure?

I: Yeah. It's no problem. The middle school is on the way so we can drop off Jayden then head to school

M: Sounds like a plan

We talked for a bit more then mom decided it was time to go home. We exchanged numbers and headed out. When we got home Cam pulled me to his room

C: What the hell happened? You look like you got your ass handed to you

I: Bro Alejandro punched me in the face

C: What?

I: Yea it was so sudden

C: Damn g

I: I'll be good. I'm Ivan. I know how to take a hit

We laughed it off then went to the basement. That's where we get high and whatnot. I popped some xans then noticed Gus was in the bean bag sleep. I kinda yelled his name and he popped up so quick. We all shared a blunt. We kept laughing at stupid shit

I: Bro you ever smoked yourself sober?

G: *chokes on smoke and laughs* You can do that?

I: Yeah *laughs* I was with Jazz and we wanted to see who could get the most fucked up. I smoked so much I went sober

We laughed pretty loud but covered our mouths so we weren't heard. In the middle of a convo I got a text from a random number

Unknown: Hey Ivan. It's Y/N. I just wanted to apologize for earlier. I'm just kinda protective over my brother

C: Who's that?

I: Y/N. She's apologizing for earlier

C: You like her?

I: I never said that

C: It's obvious. You couldn't keep your eyes off of her the whole night

I: She's beautiful, yeah, but I don't do girlfriends

G: She could be your first

 I: Technically she wouldn't be my first. She's be my first in months

C: Whatever same difference

I snatched the blunt from him as he laughed his ass off. I rolled my eyes and attempted to text her back. I can't do shit when I'm high

Ivan😎: Its sll goox shawry. I undettans

Shawty✨: Are you drunk?

G: Give me this shit. You're useless😂

Ivan😎: No. I'm just tired

Shawty✨: Okay well get some sleep then. Goodnight

I left her on seen then put my phone down. We played some of Gus' music cuz it hits different when high. Eventually we finished the blunt and fell asleep singing Peep's song. As I was drifting off I thought about writing my own music about heartbreak. Maybe my name would be Sadboyprolific
