I looked out over my balcony, the cold night air blowing in my face tomorrow was the day the queen of hearts would cut offs adams head
"Rose are you alright, you only go on the balcony to think or when your sad" my maid and best friend Lilly asked
"im just thinking about the boy my mother is going to kill tomorrow, he didnt do anything wrong really if you think about it" i turn looking at her seeing her concernd face
"Rose, you and i both know how your mother thinks and this is her way of getting people to be afraid of her" she walk over to me and smiled, she always knew what to say and when to say it
"I know but its not right, all he did was try to help the people of wonderland" I looked up to the sky not knowing what I should do about this feeling
"look I know you want to help him but you cant, this isn't like never land where dreams come true" Lilly said placing her hand on my back trying to calm me
"Lilly you know I don't believe in that old story" I laughed
"oh but darling story's like that are legends they are what made the world what us it today"
"right Lilly ok, but still what should I do I cant just let him die" I looked back at her with a worried face
"here but don't tell anyone you got it from me if your mother found out she would cut off my head" Lilly reached into her pocket and took out a key handing it to me
"Lilly I don't understand what is this and how would it help Adam" I asked looking from the key to Lilly
"honey its the key to the cells"
