Chifuyu's eyes flickered, blurry with tears as he finally reached the figure. The older male's long hair falling, curtaining his face. He smiled feeling Chifuyu's fingers caressing his face.

"You're awake?" He asked and a tear slip down Chifuyu's face. His vision readjusted itself and Chifuyu began to notice the beauty mark under his eyes, how his hair was also highlighted with yellowish highlights and the big, round honey-colored eyes.

Kazutora swept Chifuyu's hair away from his forehead, setting a wet cloth on it. He stood up and left Chifuyu alone in his room, blinking his tears away. Chifuyu glanced around the room, noticing the calender by his table.

3 November 2017

A moment passed and Kazutora reappeared with a bowl and a glass of water. Chifuyu sat up slowly, seeing him sat at the edge of his bed.

"You're burning up" Kazutora said as he scooped a spoonful of porridge towards his mouth but Chifuyu pushed his hand away.

Kazutora furrowed his brows "It's already afternoon and you haven't eaten anything yet. I have to get you to eat something before my lunch break is over and I need to return to the shop"

Chifuyu looked down, fiddling with his fingers as Kazutora continued to nag him.

"C-can you just close the shop for today?" Kazutora's glare was piercing him so he continued. "I... I know it's hard for both of us to do anything today"

Kazutora shook his head, "I'm fine"

Chifuyu clicked his tongue knowing Kazutora wouldn't let up. "Just, close it okay? I'm your boss so listen to me for fuck sake"

Kazutora gave him a look as he sighed, admitting defeat. "Understood, I'll go close it" He stood and left the room, not without asking "Need anything?"

Chifuyu shook his head and Kazutora disappeared. He laid back down, remembering his dreams of the person he missed, replaying his memories as he drifted off to sleep again.

He was woken up when Kazutora tap his face with his cold hand.

"Kazutora-kun..." Chifuyu said as Kazutora helped him to sat up. His head was spinning and he felt his stomach turning, regretting his action of not eating the porridge Kazutora had given.

"Oh, so it's not Baji this time?"

He asked shamelessly and Chifuyu's eyes cleared. His mouth parted as he recalled calling the man in front of him 'Baji-san'.

"I-I'm... Sorry, Kazutora-kun... I didn't mean to..." He clenched his fist, looking down, afraid of responses as he might hurt the other's feeling.

Instead, Kazutora's lips curved into a smile. "It's his birthday today. I'm happy that his memories is still living on inside you"

Chifuyu snapped his head to look at Kazutora as Kazutora wiped the tears forming in his eyes. It was supposed to be the other way round as Kazutora was a walking piece of moment left behind by Baji Keisuke.

Every inch of his being brought memories of Baji. His hair, his figure, the way he moved and the little things he did. It was bad to compare the two of them but Kazutora once told him that he was happy if he could do things to remind himself of Baji.

"Sorry I'm a bit emotional right now. The flu, maybe"

"Of course, you haven't eaten also. How about some peyoung yakisoba, hm?"

Kazutora knew Chifuyu shared the same favourite food as Baji. In some way, it really went both ways for them, as the two of them kept reminding each other of the existence of the black haired male.

It was worse at first, but they were slowly healing each other. Moving on but still carrying the lingering memories of their beloved Baji Keisuke.

"We'll share, right?" Chifuyu asked and Kazutora nodded, handing him the container. Chifuyu took a bite, stuffing his mouth full and Kazutora laughed. "Your one bite is huge!"

Are you having a wonderful birthday, Baji-san?

There was in no way Chifuyu could've known that night, Baji wished for the three of them to be together, and he would present them with the same heavenly view under the night sky.

Baji would've been glad to see the two most important person to him, happily laughing with each other.

The most meaningful birthday gift to him.
