The long winter is melting away, through the mist the sun is peeking. Spring is on its way with new life for woods and fields. Allie and her family moved from their hometown to Dornie, Allie was such an optimistic and delightful young girl but in a cold night in winter she lost her twin brother and went through depression...
Nothing could make Allie smile after that event, she became mean to her family and friends and was never thankful for what she has. One day she escaped from the house and went to watch the moon near the river... A firefly caught her eyes. Allie followed the firefly to a forest where she saw more fireflies floating over the lake
" beautiful view I haven't seen fireflies since... I was 3 " Allie said with a smile on her face. She watched the moon carefully then she heard a flute coming from the other side of the lake, curiosity made her try reaching the other side going around the forest, as she went closer the sound increased
All of the sudden Allie saw a mirror hanging on a tree surrounded by fireflies, She concluded that the sound is coming from the mirror but that would not make sense .... she looked at the mirror but the flute stopped at once. Allie touched the mirror hesitantly... In a blink she woke up in a green field. She ran to find her town but there was no use, then she heard someone saying " what are you wearing?!! " with a giggle.... She turned around and saw an elf " elf!!! You're not real! " she shouted, the elf laughed and thought she's joking telling her how ugly her attires are. Which caused her to be furious that she kicked him. The elf sighed saying "why is everyone mean to me ... I'm just playing around " Allie wasn't attentive about anyone's feelings but she apologized to the elf, the elf wiped his tears and told her " I'm Gwilwilethion we can be friends! I'll show you the place" Allie wouldn't remember that name ... " how about a nickname? Like....Will ? " she asked
He accepted and gave her a clover she put it behind her ear. He believes that it would bring her luck, Will & Allie then resorted to the castle where she met the princess Faervel
Faervel liked Allie a lot that she told her about the confidential garden, they walked in and Allie told her how she got here ... the princess then thought perhaps she's talking about the magical mirror, Faervel then leaded her to the tree where the mirror is hanging.
Again the same thing happened .... As Allie blinked while staring at the mirror she travelled to another place that dreaded her out and she wanted to go home. She met a Asger the Viking there which was bizarre for sure, Asger taught Allie how to defend herself in a savage place like that ... " if there is a mirror in every place .. or time I travel ... Then there's one here too, can you show me the magical mirror please?" She asked Asger
Unexpectedly he knew about the mirror like it was known by everyone. After he took her there she wished that can get her back home, before that Asger gave her a Viking helmet saying that she's strong and nothing can break her. This meant a lot for Allie
As she touched the mirror she went into a dark forest hearing screeches in deep. Then she rested at a giant rock thinking of a way to find the mirror ..
" I'll smash you " anonymous creature whispered, Allie shouted with courage " I'm not scared of you " as she said so a giant came out from the forest. Allie stood up and chose to not be scared
She challenged the giant saying " of course you know where the magical mirror is... I'll race with you, if I win you will take me to it. If I don't you can do whatever you want with me." The giant guffawed and was absolutely sure that he's going to win.
The giant counted " 3,2,1 go!!!" He scooted as he could to reach the other side of the forest wining the race
" I won! I can't even see you " he shouted, " but I'm just behind you .. And sorry but I reached before you " Allie said smirking. Seems the giant didn't notice Allie climbing on his back before the race started. He clapped for her and put her on his shoulder taking her to the mirror, Allie went into another place ... but this time she saw the mirror directly in her way as she went forward a fairy appeared and asked her what she wishes for, " I just want to go back to my family" Allie answered with teary eyes. The fairy told her to wipe her tears .... as she did the sun was shining over the lake where she woke up .... " it was all a dream! I need to go to my parents they are worried now" Allie said. Her parents were looking after her everywhere in the house, then her mom heard knocking on the door
She rushed and opened it. Allie hugged her parents telling them that she's sorry for everything and she will never be mean to anyone anymore,
She kept the magical mirror dream a secret but when she was going to sleep something fell from her hair ... " a clover?.... A clover!! It wasn't a dream but ... No one will believe it ... I'm thankful for everything that happened after all.. I hope I get to visit everyone again ..." Allie said. She couldn't sleep that night ... she felt something wrong with her pillow, so she checked under it and found the Viking helmet that Asger has given her written on it {Kindness is free...stay strong. -Asger}
