I woke up, the sharp pains in my stomach more prominent than ever. The need for food was all I could think about at that moment as I walked into the kitchen. I prepared myself some cereal before allowing myself to indulge upon some food.
Now that I am done eating I really need to get a shower, I haven't gotten one since Wednesday afternoon. And its Friday. Heading into my room I got a change of clothes. A pair of black jeans partnered with a long sleeved cherry red shirt.
After relieving myself I got into the shower. I imagined that the water spraying on me washed away my pain, sending it all down the drain. This is the way I would calm down each day after school. It's also why I would shower in the afternoon, instead of in the morning some other people.
Getting out of the shower I dried myself off with my gray towel before dressing myself. Not knowing what to do next I went to my room and got on my computer. It was a crappy laptop that my brother put so many viruses on I'm surprised it even still works. Of course I eventually get frustrated with this piece of junk machine and I give up trying to use it.
Slipping on my shoes on I left my room, then my house; I need some tea. If your computer is horrible occupy your time with other things of course. The coffee shop I'm going to though is only a few blocks away so I will just have to walk there.
~*.*~ time skip
Walking into the coffee shop I headed toward the counter. Behind it sat Meulin, ever since she went deaf she hasn't gone to school very often. I guess she is still learning to cope with never being able to hear again.
She signed hello to me and asked if I wanted the usual. I nodded yes before heading to a chair, the shop being mostly empty.
Sitting down I began to relax, only a few people from school would ever come here. Maybe some of the more intellectuals to study for tests or advance them further in different subjects. Or perhaps just to read a good novel. Too bad I forgot to bring any reading material.
Meulin walked over to me tapping the table to make sure I'm paying attention before handing me my tea. Taking a sip of it I thought of that house I passed when I was walking here. The house was a few houses down from mine with a moving truck in front of it. That means new neighbors, Dad will have the desire to meet them. Him being the 'friendly' man who gets mind muddling drunk on the side, he is. Maybe he won't see the truck though and I won't have to meet them. Hopefully they don't have any teenage kids my age, it will probably lead to me getting beaten up by them as well as all the other kids in my school.
I sip at my tea being bored, I contemplated leaving. Once I finished my first tea I ordered another one along with a muffin. I payed and waved to Meulin as I left, wondering what I would do when I got home.
