*Snap* My eyes fly open. The hell was that? Sitting up fully, I grab my broadsword from against the wall. I don't quite stand from my seated position. Being unaware of the sounds origin and whereabouts I have to be careful. Very Careful. The dangers in this hellish place are endless. Finally I decide to rise from the bed, standing fully. I make my way lethargically towards the door of my house, down the stairs and to the main room. I approach the red door, a glorious orange glow emitting from below it. My hand rubs against the handle, its warm and I hesitate. Is it warm from the climate of this place, or is it warm for another mysterious reason. What could I be walking into? Could I die? Am I overthinking things?

'Yes' a voice murmurs.

"Shut it" I Grumble.

The voices are the only thing that have kept me sane, as strange as that sounds. I live a solitary life, I have no one, nor do I need anyone. Releasing a sigh I grip the handle tightly. The warmth radiating off of it seeping into my skin. With one swift motion I swing open the door, it releasing a bang as it hits the wall. A gust of burning hot air hits my body, giving me shivers from the intensity of it. Glancing through the opening of the door frame my eyes adjust to the light. Crimson red earth surrounds me, a glorious lake of lava resides beside my home. I take step out to have a better view of my surroundings, in hopes of finding the source of the noise. To my left resides the lake, some piglins trying to wrangle some striders away from it. I've come to peace with these creatures, they are quite friendly if you get to know them. Infront of me in the distance there's the local hoglins grazing, greedily munching on the bitter nether grass. Don't ask how I know this, just don't. To my right are some skeletons and enderman. They are too close to my border, too close for comfort. I start towards them before being immediately stopped with an axe to the throat. Glancing towards the owner of the axe I am met with a green hoodie and a smiley face mask. I myself have a mask though it's very different, mine is a half face mask that covers my eyes and nose, the nose piece coming off the mask like a birds beak. However this isn't the time to think about masks. I acknowledge the grip they have on their axe; tensed and anxious, their stance however is completely different. They hold themselves in a serious and strong kind of way, their body language holds promise, a promise that if I move I will be beheaded immediately. Intriguing.

"Who are you" a male voice breaks the silence.

'So its a guy' I thought.

'I wonder if they're hot' one of the voices says.

I sigh at the thought, annoying.

"Does it matter if your going to kill me?"

"I'm not going to kill you, I've just never seen the likes of you before. I'm just being cautious."

I hold my gaze with his mask.

"You've probably never seen me before because I live here, in literal hell."

He doesn't say anything else, it's like he's calculating his words. His gaze rolls over my body, though he is unable to see my physique as I wear a heavy black cloak with golden lining. His stare though is slowly getting on my nerves.

"I suppose you could be right, I could just leave you here. However you could be a threat to the SMP and I don't want to take any chances with someone I've never met" he finally finished.

"Is it government based?"

"What??"

"I said is it government based? God are you deaf?"

"No?"

"Then you have nothing to worry about, your SMP is safe from me. I pose no threat"

"You're a strange one aren't you? But I wont question it" He says lowering his axe from my neck.

"Surprising, I thought you were the smart type" I muse.

"Huh? What do you mea- AHH!"

His sentence is cut short, before he has anytime to register what's going on I swing my leg behind his. He falls on his ass and I bring my sword up to his neck, pressing snuggly into the exposed skin ready to behead him at any moment. His axe lay far away from us and his breathing has hitched. His body language has completely changed, his promised attitude and seriousness have all been replaced with shock and surprise. He seems impressed but I'm not here to impress some guy. I release a heavy sigh, I feel as though I will regret this. I lower my sword from his neck, my stance however remained unwavering.
