This story is inspired by Thomas Sanders and Worldless Wonder by sandysiders and Creepypasta_fander for permission to use Issac. He's not a side, but I did give him minor insecurity.
King Triton was the ruler of Atlantica for many years. After his youngest daughter wed a human, the likelihood that both kinds would get along for generations was thought to be a guarantee. She felt her father was the only option when her love betrayed her. The humans started to abuse the power and magic that the merpeople processed. All ties were cut, years of fighting began, and it was as if Ariel had never left the ocean. The new Queen of Alantica, Attina, took rule. She kept the law passed by her father and had three kids of her own, but the curse took the heath of her husband and the soulmate of her daughter. Now, for the humans, they locked up all the magic in their kingdom and threw it out forever. The king lost his wife but kept his son hidden and sent him away from the palace to stay safe from all the evil of the curse in their kingdom.
Many years passed as the three children aged. The twins Roman and Remus were both strong mermen, and their sister Destiny is now a teenager. The only thing Attina wishes is for her sons to be less like her sister.
