"I promise I'll right to you guys everyday! Especially you, Y/N, you've been the nicest, smartest, funniest, just the best sibling I've ever had ever since you came here!" she said with a big but small smile.
**you say the same thing that you said to Jeffery**
"I promise that I'll right back to you everyday. I will never break that promise, even if I get adopted."
**It's now been a couple hours later and she had already left. You were in your room and Ray is now going up stairs to check up on you. When he gets to your room, he hears crying noises**
"Y/N, are you okay? Can I come in?" he asked
"I'm fine, but yeah, come in." you say in a sad tone and you're looking down.
**he opens the door and says, "Are you really okay? You look like you've been crying".**
"Ray, I said I was fine, why are you even asking me?"
"Because I care, why else?"
"I don't know, mom might have sent you here" you said.
"Even if she did, I would've still came. Now tell me whats wrong." said Ray.
"It just...do you think I'm even doing the right thing by being a mom just to live..?" you asked as you look up with your teary.
"I mean, you really didn't have a choice, you were forced to. I know this might be messed up but I actually think what you are doing is a good choice. Like at least you haven't been shipped out, right?" he says in a quiet voice so no one else can hear.
"I guess. I just feel guilty for lying to everyone."
"You're lying to them for a good reason though. For their safety."
"I feel like it's not making them safe though because at the end of the day they all die, Ray!" "I just want this nightmare to be over already, but I know it's never going to, I just know it!" you said in a sad-mad tone.
"Y/N, calm down!" yelled Ray.
you yelled back "Ray, almost everyone in this orphanage are almost gone!".
"I know that! You don't think I want them to die? No, I don't. But sometimes you just got to realize that's how it has to be here." he said as he pulls away
"But we can change that, we could escape if we wanted to." you said in a low "I'm-sorry-voice".
"Wait..we could do that!"
**someone knocks on your door and you told them to come in**
"Y/N, Ray, are you two okay?" "Everyone's been wondering what's going on downstairs" said Emma.
"Yeah, we're fine, just been trying to calm down a little bit since they miss Connie a lot" said Ray.
"It helped, luckily" you said quickly after.
