Shutting the door of my room,I slid to the floor sighting as I looked at the ceiling.

Tough is an understatement, depressing is the right description for the word, I never wanted this...he never....we never wanted this. The unexpected deaths, complains , sorrows...seeking of a new hope. It was never meant to be. After all...

     It's all for the people.

Eradication of the village has been an option.

I darted my eyes from the grey ceiling to the small compartment I called my room.

Mixture of different colors giving it a dull yet alluring look, a small sized bed placed at the end of the wall, a very ting reading table and a pathetic excuse of a cupboard.

I heaved up balancing myself, before finding my way  towards a small door that is placed beside the small wardrobe.

i was blessed with a very small shower and a toilet.

That's it, no sink to keep conditioners or shampoos or a closet to keep toothpaste and toothbrush or mirrors. But I can't have the mouth to complain.

Entering, I stripped off my clothes as I hopped onto the chilling cold shower before grabbing the soap from the side of the small window in front of the shower, washing myself as dirt was covered my legs and arms like I just rolled in mud and dirt.

When I was done, I checked myself of any cuts and guess what I had one; it was a long gash across my calf.

I just knew I will have an injury.

I sighted before Drying and wrapping a towel around my body as I walked out of the bathroom to retrieve my first aid box from under my bed.

I held my breath before I poured the alcohol swallowing in pain before tying a bandage across my calf  knowing I am going hunting again beside my brother's protest and I don't want it to be infected.

Wearing a pair of black shirt and yellow shorts as I laid on my bed with a loud thump and a long sigh.

This has been a long day

I lazily moved my eyes towards the ticking clock watching the second hand clock move with a slight tick.

8:30

Before blocking my sight with my arm. Basking in the silence before hearing  receding footsteps getting louder and with each step.

I didn't move an inch

I heard a loud thumping on the stairs,

the sound coming closer,

3,2,1.

A loud creaking was heard before my name was voiced in a sing song tune.

" oh Nate"

Oh great.

I heated the creaking getting louder.

"Are you here" the voice sang again.

Contemplating if I should voice out my thoughts or keep quit but quickly decided against it. Even if I didn't voice she won't leave and still investigate if I am around or not.

So no I won't talk.

" Yeah,am here" My mouth said betraying my thoughts.

" Morning Jennie"I felt an extra weight dipped heavily beside me before removing my arms to view the insanely hyper active black woman beside me.
