Candara and Alfred soon got to the practice grounds and alfred started to speak.
"Now, come sit." He patted his tail on the ground infront of him.
Candara sat down with her legs crossed, and she looked up to alfred.
"Now now.. prepare your self for this story of the shadow realm. I can tell you most of it.. that I know anyway..." He took a breath in. "The shadow realm is a dark and scary place as you can see.. filled with shadow monsters, like me. As you can see, shadow monsters have a black body and a white outline, and we tend to be huge. Female shadow monsters are bigger than the males... and that brings me to the queen.."
Candara seemed to be quite interested for this story and she had gotten comfortable in a laying pose.
Alfred stopped talking and pat her head with one of his toe beans, so he didn't squish her. "Anyway, as I was saying.. the queen, her name is shad. And as you could guess she rules over this realm. Now, for the actual story.. there has been 3 wars past the time I have been alive.. the opposing side is the light realm where a king rules. For the light realm its opposite of us, while we have no color.. they have color.. we are considered "aggressive, smelly, hideous monsters" but for them, they are "peaceful, rosey, gorgeous angels." He explained,
"I do not know much about the light realm, as im not allowed over there of course.. but thats fine, im not super interested in visiting. Now, let me tell you about the first war...."
