Thorn

Prologue(13 years old)

Three gun shots sound through the house, I jump out of bed and sprint to my parents downstairs, but blood circles there heads. My father was shot twice and my mother once. I turn and see five men in black suits walking out the back door.

As I sit beside their bodies, something comes from the fire place. A shadowy figure with large horns stands before me. He smiles when he sees me, his sharp white teeth.

"Sweet Thorn, I've been watching you for years now. Your perfect for a demon!" He says with a laugh.

"All you must do is take this dagger and slice your hand." He says handing me a small dagger, the blade has a curve. I slide it across my hands and I fall onto my back.

"I grant you the power of speed, flight, super senses, the staff of woe, strength of 300 men, and the thirst of flesh!" He chants as my body rises into the air, my eyes turn red, my teeth grind into fangs, my nails grow 3 inches, and my hair comes above my ears and turns black as night. A small black rod appears on the ground, at the top a blade appears.

When I land on the ground I grab the staff and it grows to my height, the blade turns silver with spikes on the back side of the blade.

"When you've killed all of them, you will be rewarded with your soul." He says before a large file falls to the ground.

I look down at it and see two women and three men. The first mans name is Sylvester, a Latino man with blonde spiky hair. A woman with black straight hair named Silvia. The other woman's name is Lizzie, she has red hair. The other two men look the same, black hair. Ones name is Dornan and the other, Alex.

"These are the men and woman who left, but are lead by Malachi, the head assassin. But be warned, his men are extremely dangerous, especially Theo Waterson. He gave his soul to me many years ago but never finished his job so he joined the assassins. Now go Thorn! Make me proud!" He screams before fire sucks him into the flames once more.
