Courtney's POV

Today I am starting my first day at Maple High School. Right now I'm picking out a perfect outfit for my first day. I've watched many videos on outfit making. I decided to go with a pink tank top, with a light grey knee skirt. I also picked out a pair of cute pink pumps. I got dressed. At this moment my long blond hair was bugging me because it was so messy. I sat down on my chair next to my mirror. I started brushing my hair in my peaceful bedroom when my little brother, Tommy came running into my room.

"Help me hide from mom. She's trying to make me dress up," he started running to my closet, looking for a hiding spot. Tommy hated being clean and neat. And I didn't want him in my room.

"Mom, Tommy is in my room, making a big mess!" I yelled.

"So much for a good sister," Tommy mumbled as he attempted to get out of the door before my mom caught him. As he was running for the door my mom appeared in the doorway.

"Tommy Paul Keller! You will listen to me or I will take your Xbox away!" My mom was red faced and angry. Tommy was now looking at the ground like he was put on pooper scooper duty. "Come, now." Tommy followed my mom out of my room and there I was alone again. Peace once again. I continued to do my hair. I put it in a half do. I then did my makeup. I tried to use the least I could.

When I was done I walked at of my room and down the stairs of my house, which you could say is pretty decent. I sat down on a stool that was next to our island in the middle of our kitchen. I took my phone from its charger and turned it on. 5 texts and like a million instagram notifications. All of the texts were from my friends from my old school telling me that I will make a lot of friends. They were so sweet for encouraging me. I then went to my instagram and started scrolling through home page. The normal selfies and quotes from all of my friends. I looked at the time and I had to leave for school. I saw my brother all dressed up standing by my impatient mom.

"It's about time, you might be late for your first day," she said. I rolled my eyes.

"Yeah, right. That'll happen," I said. My mom glared at me then walked to the door. I guess I was on my way for my new school.

Chris's POV

I was sitting on the bus waiting for my friend, Gabe. We've known each other for at least 10 years. We met at a park and hit it off, I guess. We were interested in the same things. Football, track, and some other things.

"Hey Chris," it was Gabe. He sat in the seat across from me.

"What's up," I said.

"Not much of anything, really," he said. "Summer was boring, be sides all of the outside work I had to do. That gave me something to do." I just nodded.

"My parents made me get a job. I'm a part time mechanic," I told Gabe. The bus was now stopping at our school.

"Well, time to face another boring year of school," Gabe said.

Courtney's POV

I was in the office. They told me to wait there until they found someone willing to show me where everything was. I guess they found someone because there came in a teacher and a student.
