My name was Katie. I was in ninth grade. I went to a huge public high school in the suburbs of Philadelphia. I was 15 years old. I was on the school track team, though I was probably one of the worst on the team. I had long, thick and darkish-blonde hair. I had dull blue eyes. I was tall, at 5'10". I was an average teenage girl. That year I had made and lost a few friends. I also aced and failed some grades. In the grand scheme of things, I couldn't have been more normal. I had a crush. I loved videogames and binge watching Youtube streams late at night. You know, typical teenager stuff. However, That marking period had been very tough. My grades began to slip in some classes, like English and Social Studies. I had some anxiety issues, which as you probably know are very common in teenage girls. Still, I kept my chin up and got through it all. I knew that everything would be fine and I would be an amazing adult in the "real world" as they call it. Until of course, the day it all came crashing down. I like to call it the day I became "Invisible".
