Hi folks!

This is my first MDZS Wangxian one-shot (not my first ff or one-shot but my first Wangxian one-shot) meant to be p/w/p crack fiction but somehow ended up with a plot (sort of) and got little a bit more serious. Anyways, I hope you all enjoy it since I wrote it for the fandom, of course!

Disclaimer: The cover art is from the manhua. I take no credit for that only the fanfict--also posted on AO3.

Note: I've seen this on a few other people's ffs so I'll say this, please don't repost my fanfiction (in English, any other language, or form) on other websites without my permission.

After the night at Yunmeng's Guanyin Temple, Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji roamed around night hunting and along with Lil' Apple, being 'wherever the chaos was' as before. They went into a wine shop and sat down at a table in a plain little corner.

Wei Wuxian asked for wine and Lan Wangji ordered a few plates. Wuxian listened to Wangji's deep voice state the names of the dishes with one hand propping up his cheek and another resting underneath the table, fingers wrapped around the snowy white ribbon. He had a big grin on his face. Only after the servant was gone did he begin to eat.

"So many of them are spicy."

Just as Lan Wangji was about to answer him with a criticism on his posture, Wei Wuxian set his chopsticks down and picked a pepper from his plate. He turned it around in his hand.

"Can you eat them?" Wei Wuxian asked while looking at the pepper in his hand as if admiring it.

Evaluated every inch of Wei Wuxian's face, Wangji could not help but give his instinctual, involuntary answer. "Anything for Wei Ying."

Wei Wuxian was taken aback by this. As much as he wanted to laugh at this, he also wanted to protest. He looked away; his face flushed slightly.

"Anything?" Wuxian asked.

"Mn."

Wuxian eyed the pepper in his fingers before smirking. A sense of mischief suddenly enveloped him like a blanket. He asked, "You'll even...share some spice with me?"

The corners of Wangji's mouth twitched ever so slightly. It didn't go unnoticed by Wei Wuxian. If Wei Wuxian's eyes could smile, they would. A set of customers that had been sitting two tables across from them got up and exited the wine shop, leaving a bit more privacy Wuxian's idea to hatch.

"I'll make you a fun challenge Lan er-gege." Wei Wuxian said as he curled his finger at Wangji, his expression solemn. Wangji moved closer to Wuxian. In a hushed tone, Wuxian whispered to Wangji, "For each pepper eaten is the number of rounds I'll owe you tonight. For every bite taken per pepper is the number of different positions and ways you can have me.... We can even eat these together if you'd like."

The tips of Wangji's ears burned a bright scarlet. Fantasies of tongues interlocking with a chili pepper in between sprang to life in a corner of his mind. It took everything he had to stay seated. "Not here."

Wei Wuxian raised a brow.

Wangji looked around for a distraction but found no comfort in the wine shop. Any noise from earlier had all but settled with customers, having come and gone. Wangji's eyes wandered back and watched as Wuxian turned the pepper around in his slender fingers. At first, the delicacy of the touch reminded him of a precious stone but then Wuxian's fingers began caressing the vegetable, applying pressure to it like he would another part on the body. Arms at his side, Wangji's fingers twitched. His mind swirled at the thought of playing more dangerous games than with food.
