***Terri's POV***
These days be moving so swiftly thinking to myself that it was already Friday. I was happy to be working from home for these last few months. I worked for a firm that sells and manufactures feminine and hygienic products. Our products were made from natural herbs and was ninety-nine percent approved by Gynecologists. I had the best performance for last month so I was expecting to receive an extra bonus at the end of this month and I couldn't wait.
"Hello Mrs White, It's Terrikai calling from Ethiopian Magic. I was just following up on your package. I see where you sent an email that your package was not delivered?"
Mrs White was a frequent client of ours, based on her account history she has been with us for over 7 years, way before I started this job. I would say she was in her late 50's or so.
"Hi Terrikai, Yes I sent an email but my package was delivered to me early this morning."
"Thank God!" I said muting the phone, when my clients were happy that made me happy.
"I'm elated to hear that your package was received mam and I hope you continue to shop with us here at Ethiopian magic. Do you have any questions about our other products or services?"
"No I'm good, thank you." She replied politely.
"Ok Mrs White have your self a nice day."
My day was running smoothly today and I was extra excited that I was getting off early. I had one whole weekend to do what ever I wanted.
Checking my phone seeing it was already 2:50pm ten minutes to the ending of my shift. I finished cleaning up my work station, wiping down my laptop and putting back my stationeries where they belong.
"Hey Jade, its Terri, is it possible for you to fill me in for 3:30?"
"Girl you must be the luckiest woman alive, one of my clients just canceled slide through."
"Ok girl thanks"
My nails were in need of some TLC. I felt like I needed to get me a full pedicure too, after all I deserved that shit. On my way to the shop I decided to call Tye, wondering if he was back from his little vacation.
"Sup Terr" he answered in his usual calm tone.
"What you doing tomorrow?" I asked getting straight to the point.
"I don't know yet, what's up?"
"Come by my place at nine ok"
"Aite" he replied.
Pulling up at the shop I noticed Brother's Giant Pizza van parked outside and right away I remembered that good looking girl that delivered my pizza the other night. I've thought about texting her but was a bit shy, I didn't wanna seem easy either. I pushed open the door to the nail salon and speaking of the devil, there she was with her fine ass self flirting with Jade. She was too much.
"Ehh-ehmmh, what's going on here?" I uttered jokingly but in a serious tone.
"Hey girl, that was quick did you fly?" Jade asked.
"Na girl just didn't wanna keep you waiting."
"Terri. Hi." Ace said shyly.
"You two know each other?" Jade asked.
"Yea" I said surprisingly quickly.
"Hmmmmm" Jade hummed and gave me the eye.
"Take care ladies. It's good to see you again Terri" Ace said before exiting the shop with her light skinned self.
