In the school library…

It was before school. Esha was helping Fiona with her essay on the computers. Denise was meanwhile sitting at a nearby table, doing her homework and possessively stroking what seems to be a box of normal crayons. Suddenly, Sydney bursts through the double-doors and approached the group. Denise showed Sydney her crayons (more like shoving it into her face), eyes gleaming with pride. Sydney lazily glanced at the box, thinking that it was just a regular crayon box… until she saw the Naruto sign.

“WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!”

As you can tell, Sydney was obsessed with a manga called Naruto, a Japanese comic about a ninja named Naruto and his friends; a manga that Denise also happened to be obsessed about. Anyways, back to the story.

Sydney grabbed the box and immediately eyed it hungrily. Greed overtook her, so she ran off towards a “cozy-looking” bookshelf, in an attempt to hide. Oh such an innocent little bookshelf… or is it? Suddenly, there was a creaking sound. Sydney gasped, before falling into what seems like a never-ending dark oblivion (Seriously?! It was only like 5 seconds?!). She crashed head-first onto the (surprisingly carpeted) floor. Then, she sat up and blearily looked around, while rubbing her poor head and clutching the crayon box. Out of nowhere, a gust of wind swept through and darkly-clothed people appeared, surrounding Sydney. They whisked off their ominous cloaks, revealing… really, REALLY, bad…

NARUTO COSPLAYERS!!!!!!!!!

Sydney shrieked, throwing her hands over her face, trying to protect her eyes from the terrible monstrosity… she failed. The awful assortment of people (things like Naruto with a yellow-dyed mop for hair, a dog-person-Sasuke-thing, Kakashi with duct-tape over his mouth and eye, and Lee with a black bag on his head and sharpie drawn on his eyebrows) glared at her. “You stole the ninja crayons...” they said in monotone. “You must pay…” Slowly, they advanced on her. Sydney’s eyes widened and she protectively hugged the crayon box to her chest, scooting backwards until she ran into something. She whirled around to face…

DENISE!!!!!!!!

“You must pay! Give me back my precious!” Denise yelled with a dark, murderous look in her eyes and raised a pitchfork (Wait a second where did that come from?!). She was sitting on a golden throne, surrounded by more hideous Naruto cosplayers. The rest of the cult simultaneously raised their pitchforks and started chanting along with Denise.

Sydney screamed, fear clouding her mind. “I need to get away from these insane people…” She scrambled up, trying to get away by crawling through the crowd. There! A door! She immediately stood up and ran towards it. “Come on, almost there,” she whispered to herself, only to see… Esha filming the whole thing and Fiona laughing tears away on the (carpeted, seriously, again?!) floor. They moved to block the door.

“Go on…” Esha said. “This is certainly entertaining… IT’S GOING ON YOUTUBE!!”

The cult approached Sydney once more. She screamed in terror and fell to her knees as she saw the sharp points of the pitchforks. A few of them were even on fire. Denise towered over her. “Give them back…” she whispered, eyes dripping with malice. The cosplayers started whispering with her. As each second passed by, the voices grew louder and the pitchforks were raised higher.

Finally, Sydney had enough of the fear. “Fine, ok!” Sydney burst out. She hugged the box of crayons to her one last time, tears escaping her eyes. “Bye-bye my baby, my precious baby,” she whispered lovingly. Then, she handed them over to Denise, looking the other way.

“Thank you,” Denise said condescendingly. She swished her black cape (ok, where did that from… wait again?!) and walked off, the (REALLY) bad cosplayers following her. Fiona walked up to the sobbing Sydney on the floor and handed her a cookie. Sydney nibbled on it, still mourning her loss. Esha continued filming, tears of laughter streaming down her face.

And now you realize that this was all about a box of crayons…
